Myleene Klass rang in the New Year with a family reunion in Thailand, sharing photos of her trip on Instagram.

The star posted a photo of her emotional goodbye with her younger sister Jessie on Monday after they spent a week together exploring Thailand with their families.

TV and radio producer Jessie lives in Australia, with Myleene revealing that they chose Thailand to meet up for a long awaited reunion.

Posting a farewell selfie Myleene wrote: 'I have a red nose as my sister just made a goodbye speech. Im the ugly crier of the family. She goes back to Oz and us back to the UK.

Myleene added the caption 'Klass Girls on tour' as the lookalike sisters smiled for the camera.

The star also shared a reel from her trip which showed the sisters enjoying quality time together and with Myleene's three children Ava, Hero and Apollo.

Myleene also posed with her fiance Simon Motson as the group packed in the fun with boat trips, pool swims, kick boxing classes and plenty of delicious treats at food markets.

'Take me to the beach. Our family reunion in Thailand. So much to celebrate together,' a happy Myleene captioned the post.

Myleene is the proud daughter of immigrant parents. She and Jessie were raised by their mother Magdalena and father Oscar in Norfolk.

Oscar, of Austrian descent is a retired captain in the Royal Navy who retrained as a plumber whilst Magdalena, who is Filipino, was a nurse.

Myleene has always spoken with pride about her upbringing, and in a 2023 Instagram post spoke candidly about her mixed-race heritage.

She revealed she's been 'mistaken' for her son Apollo's 'Filipino nanny' and detailed the racism she suffered as a child.

In the lengthy post, Myleene said that as recently as the previous week someone mistook her for her son's nanny, and added that others don't realise that the phrase is 'casually racist.'

The star, who welcomed her youngest child Apollo in 2019, wrote: 'Even only last week, when out with my son, I was 'mistaken' as his Filipino nanny (gladly, it's a noble role but one often taken for granted in North London where some Mums don't realise how lucky they are to have ''help'' and ''a Filipino'' or that even this very phrase is casually racist).

'The asian community have to leave their kids to provide a better life for them, raising those not their own and expected to be overtly grateful for the often unfair pay, whilst invisible.'

She continued: 'I've made no secret of the racism I faced growing up. 'Chink' and 'Mongrel' were terms I heard regularly'.

'I was given plates to clear in the College dining room as 'that's what Filipinos do'. I'd face the school bus full with children slanting their eyes, taunting 'ching chong''....

'Asians have constantly been type cast as the kung fu experts, the violin playing geniuses, the obedient, ping pong bouncing asian brides. Well now, the world is changing'.

Last week Myleene thanked her fans for their support as she was recognised in this year's New Year Honours for services to women's health, miscarriage awareness and to charity.

The TV presenter, 46, has become a prominent campaigner following her own experience of four miscarriages.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, she took a moment to show gratitude to her followers and said that she is even more determined to use her platform to raise awareness.

She said: 'Greetings from Thailand, It's very late here at the moment. We're seven hours ahead and I'm currently in my posh interview shirt with my beach shorts on because I've been on the beach with my family today.

The star looked incredible in a tiny orange bikini as she posed on a boat travelling through the stunning scenery

The multi-talented star also tried her hand at kick boxing during the jam-packed trip

'I'm currently doing interviews back in the UK real time because I wanted to share something really important with you, really special.

'Today in the New Years Honours list I have been recognised for an MBE. I am now officially Myleene Klass MBE.

'I'm going to put it on stationary. I wonder if I can get it on my passport.

'All this to say the MBE is for my services to miscarriage and campaigning, working with Tommy's, making sure that women's fertility is addressed at parliament an just making sure that every woman and baby gets across that finishing line and I won't stop. I will not stop.

'I'm even more determined now to be able to use my platform to call for change and to get the care that these women and these babies so rightfully deserve.

'To everybody that has supported me, thank you so much. I will continue to call for change. And to the babies that went before us, know that this mamma is going to continue to fight and make sure that your voices are heard until we reunited once again.

'So thank you for all your love, all your support from Myleene Klass MBE and Happy New Year.'

Myleene has championed changes to the Women's Health Strategy, advocating for earlier support for women rather than waiting until they have experienced three miscarriages.

Her efforts have focused on improving miscarriage care and raising awareness about the emotional and heartbreaking toll of baby loss.

The musician has used her platform to push for government reforms and has played a key role in ensuring baby loss is addressed as a critical health issue.
