Are you forever losing your keys? You're convinced you put them down on the coffee table, but now you're five minutes late leaving for work and you're pulling the couch to bits apart to find them.

Sound familiar? If this is you, and you're an iPhone user, I've got something for you (and no, it's not an AirTag). This is something a little cooler and a lot more useful. This is the KeySmart iPro Key Holder.

Rather than a tag that attaches to your keyring, the iPro becomes your key fob, able to hold up to 14 keys in one smart, high-tech holder.

Adding your keys is easy. Open two screws -- you can use the included bottle opener or a coin -- pop your keys on the screws, tighten them up, and that bit is done. It holds them quietly, eliminating the jingle-jangle of a keychain, and prevents them from tearing holes in your pockets.

The selection of UK keys I'm using here is a bit of a mish-mash and differs from the Kwikset and Schlage keys and their derivatives found in the US, so your efforts will likely look tidier than mine.

Here's a pro tip: the tray the iPro comes in doubles as a handy storage for fitting the keys into the holder, so keep it until you're done! 

But there's a lot more to the iPro than holding your keys. Inside the keyholder is a finder tag that works with Apple's Find My network. Once paired with your iPhone, this lets you make the keyholder emit an 85dB chirp, see its location on a map, and even send you a notification when you leave it behind to help prevent you from losing it in the first place.  

Assembly can be a bit fiddly, but the included tray helps make is easier.

The tag has a finding range of around 150 feet (46 meters), and it works well both indoors and out. However, unlike AirTags, the iPro does not have precision finding capability (only AirTags and Apple's own hardware have this feature).

The tag is rechargeable using USB-C, and a charge lasts about 30 days. Just attach a cable and wait for the orange light to turn green.

While on the subject of lights, there's also a tiny built-in LED that acts as a flashlight. You press a little button for momentary on/off or double-press it for a 10-second burst.

The kit also comes with a handy bottle opener, a loop ring, and a dozen spacers. Lastly, the iPro is tough and resistant to impacts and abrasion, vital for something that's going to be banging around in your bag 24/7.

The KeySmart iPro is a different kind of finder tag. Unlike a tag you attach to your keychain, this is also a key organizer with a cool flashlight feature. It takes a bunch of random keys and makes them easier and a lot more convenient to carry about.
