When she's not writing she's playing sports (soccer, softball, basketball, and pickleball), watching travel shows, or walking her dog, Banana.
After MobLand blew up last year, viewers have been eagerly awaiting any news about season 2, and now we have new set photos hinting at what is to come.
Unlike the multiple-year wait viewers have seen with some streaming shows, Paramount+ greenlit MobLand in June 2025 and confirmed its 2026 release window. The second season will bring back Tom Hardy's Harry Da Souza, a fixer hired by a crime family. Da Souza is gruff, charming, and deadly. When it comes to fixing the problems of the Harrigans, he gets the job done, but his loyalty to them may now be wavering.
Set photos for MobLand season 2 hit the internet back in December, featuring the Harrigan patriarch Conrad (Pierce Brosnan) and matriarch Maeve (Helen Mirren). But fans who have been hoping for a glimpse of Hardy need not wait any longer, as he was spotted wearing Da Souza's iconic brown leather alongside co-star Joanne Froggatt in London in photos shared by Just Jared.

Hardy and Froggatt are dressed for the chilly walk along the River Thames. Hardy scowls, hands in the pockets of his jacket, as Froggatt, in a chic red turtleneck, is blocked both facing him and away. Froggatt plays Jan Da Souza, Harry's wife. They have one daughter, Gina (Teddie Allen).
Jan worries about Harry's involvement with the Harrigan family, fearing for her family's safety due to such criminal ties. Season 1 leaves this tension unresolved, with no doubt of its resurgence in season 2. But Harry is torn between needing to protect his family and the twisted criminal underworld he finds himself tangled up in.
MobLand broke streaming records last March when it debuted on Paramount+, and Hardy's gruff charisma as Da Souza is cited as a key factor in the show's respectable 75% score on Rotten Tomatoes. The series began as a spinoff of Showtime's Ray Donovan, but as the story took on an identity all its own, it transformed into MobLand.
It is, however, not Hardy's first foray into crime television. Namely, he plays Peaky Blinders season 2's antagonist Alfie Solomons, making his mark on the critically acclaimed series. Unlike the conflicted and moral Da Souza, Solomons is something of a wildcard. Despite their differences, Hardy's performances were both praised as magnetic.
Hardy is an actor known for taking big swings and choosing roles based on creative freedom, but we've yet to see what shocking turns he may have in store for MobLand season 2.
MobLand will return to Paramount+ in 2026.
