Chris is a Senior News Writer for Collider. He can be found in an IMAX screen, with his eyes watering and his ears bleeding for his own pleasure. He joined the news team in 2022 and accidentally fell upwards into a senior position despite his best efforts.

For reasons unknown, he enjoys analyzing box office receipts, giant sharks, and has become known as the go-to man for all things BoschMission: Impossible and Christopher Nolan in Collider's news division. Recently, he found himself yeehawing along to the Dutton saga on the Yellowstone Ranch.

He is proficient in sarcasm, wit, Photoshop and working unfeasibly long hours. Amongst his passions sit the likes of the history of the Walt Disney Company, the construction of theme parks, steam trains and binge-watching Gilmore Girls with a coffee that is just hot enough to scald him.

His obsession with the Apple TV+ series Silo is the subject of mockery within the Senior News channel, where his feelings about Taylor Sheridan's work are enough to make his fellow writers roll their eyes.

As part of Collider’s Exclusive Spring Preview, we’re thrilled to debut a brand-new image from Taylor Sheridan’s latest neo-Western drama, The Madison — and it offers a surprisingly intimate glimpse into what is expected to be the most emotional story he’s told yet. Even before its premiere, the series has already secured a second-season renewal — a strong vote of confidence in what’s being described as Sheridan’s most intimate work to date.

Created by Taylor Sheridan, The Madison unfolds across two distinct worlds: the sweeping, open landscapes of Montana and the electric pulse of New York City. The six-episode debut season premieres globally on March 14, with three episodes launching on Paramount+, followed by the remaining three on March 21. Our exclusive new image sees Michelle Pfeiffer's Stacy Clyburn getting to grips with rural Montana life after arriving from the bustling metropolis, warming her teapot by the fire, and adapting to her new surroundings. It's a cozy image, but it's one bristling with the energy of sadness, tragedy, and loss, following her marriage to Kurt Russell's Preston Clyburn.

In addition to Pfeiffer and Russell, the series stars Beau Garrett (Firefly Lane), Elle Chapman (A Man Called Otto), Patrick J. Adams (Suits), Amiah Miller (War for the Planet of the Apes), Alaina Pollack (The Surrender), Ben Schnetzer (3 Body Problem), Kevin Zegers (Power), Rebecca Spence (Lady in the Lake), Danielle Vasinova (1923), Matthew Fox (Lost), and Will Arnett (Is This Thing On?).

What Can We Expect From 'The Madison'?

THE-MADISON-WATERMARK

From Yellowstone to Mayor of Kingstown and Landman, Sheridan has a history of shocking audiences early, often using a major death to ignite the larger narrative. And while nothing is confirmed, there’s growing speculation that Russell’s Preston may not be long for this world — a potential emotional gut-punch that would set the tone for a grief-driven story. We're praying that doesn't happen, but we know what Sheridan likes to do.

The Madison is only the beginning of a packed 2026 slate for Sheridan. Later this year, the Yellowstone sequel Dutton Ranch (starring Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser) is set to premiere. Meanwhile, Luke Grimes returns as Kayce Dutton in Marshals on CBS in March. Elsewhere, Tulsa King, Lioness, and Landman are all slated to return, while Mayor of Kingstown will wrap with its fifth season, but if our exclusive image is anything to go by, The Madison may be the one that hits the hardest.

The Madison premieres on March 14 on Paramount +. Check out our previews of the hottest upcoming television and film projects here, at Collider’s Exclusive Spring Preview.
