Oscars 2026: Michael B. Jordan, Kylie Jenner and More Who Changed Their Looks for After-Parties

Film’s biggest night has come and gone, but fashion never dies.

And indeed, once the Oscars were handed out at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on March 15, the party didn’t stop. After all, there was much to celebrate.

At the close of the evening—which was helmed by repeat-host Conan O’Brien—the biggest winner in film proved to be One Battle After Another, which walked away with the Best Picture award in addition to five other wins.

Meanwhile, Jessie Buckley was awarded Lead Actress for her work in Hamnet, while Michael B. Jordan was awarded for his work in Sinners. While the wins marks each actor's first Oscar, the timing was especially poignant for Jessie, as it occurred on Mother's Day in the United Kingdom.

“I feel like what a gift to get to explore motherhood through this incredible mother this is and was,” she said in her speech, “and then to become one myself, and then to receive this recognition of the incredible role mothers play in our world on this day is something I will never, ever forget.”

And the Oscar winner stunned in an award-worthy ensemble, taking to the stage in a custom pink and red Chanel gown.

With so many exciting moments during the show, it only stands to reason none of the newly-minted Oscar winners—Weapons' Amy Madigan and One Battle After Another's Sean Penn took home the other acting trophies—and other attendees wanted the party to stop. That, of course, is where the annual after-parties come in.

This year, some of the hosts of the Academy Awards’ post-bashes included the annual Vanity Fair party, the Governors Ball and NEON at Motherwolf.

And while the Oscars red carpet always proves to be a fashionable affair—see every star’s look here—the after-parties allow celebs to slip into something more comfortable.

In fact, both Jessie and Michael opted to change out of their red carpet looks for sleeker ensembles, Jessie donning a sparkling black dress while the Sinners star showed off his fashion sense in a brown suit and shades.

Kylie Jenner—who attended as boyfriend Timothée Chalamet's plus one—was another star who decided to switch up her look, changing out of her red Schiaparelli gown for a cut-out McQueen look at the annual Vanity Fair bash.

But don’t take out word for it: to see many of the stars who debuted new looks at the Vanity Fair after-party, read on.
