Melvin Odoom, 46, reveals he's set to become a father for the first time as his pregnant girlfriend Hannah Holland shows off baby bump in sweet snaps

Melvin Odoom has revealed he's set to become a father for the first time as his girlfriend Hannah Holland is pregnant.

The radio personality, 46, announced the happy news in an Instagram post on Friday in which Hannah showed off her growing baby bump.

The sweet black and white snaps showed the pair posing side by side, with Hannah, 32, donning jeans and an open white shirt displaying her bare stomach.

Another close-up image saw the couple's hands entwined as they tenderly cradled her bump, while a third showed an excited Melvin snapping photos of his love.

Captioning his post, the former I'm A Celebrity star simply penned: 'Mum & Dad' with a grey love heart. 

His post was met with a plethora of congratulatory messages from his fans and showbiz pals.  

His close friend Rochelle Humes shared: 'Couldn’t be happier my brother'.

Aston Merrygold's wife Sarah Louise penned: 'Oh my goodness Melv ♥️ the biggest congratulations to you both! Such beautiful news.'

Joe Wicks wrote: 'Wow mate this is wonderful congratulations'.

A shocked Vicky Pattison added: 'WHATTTT???? This is unbelievable news, congratulations you guys!!'

While his radio co-star and pal Ricky Haywood-Williams cheekily quipped: 'Can I suggest Rickie for a boy - Rikya for a girl.' 

Melvin and Hannah first met backstage at I'm A Celebrity in 2024 in Australia, where Melvin was a contestant while Hannah was there for work.

Hannah spent time down under amid her role as CEO of London-based Entertainment Agency HLD which represents GK Barry, who starred on the ITV show alongside Melvin.

They allegedly hit it off backstage as Hannah watched in the friends and family area of the camp, with Melvin around after being fourth to be voted out of the jungle.

Speaking when news of their romance was revealed last year, a source told The Sun: 'Melvin and Hannah really hit it off and are incredibly happy together. 

'They’re both keen to keep their relationship out of the spotlight, but their chemistry is undeniable.

'It’s now an open secret in the industry – everyone’s thrilled for Melvin.'

Prior to meeting Hannah, Melvin boasted of his crush on Carol Vorderman, but he was soon left devastated after she ghosted him when he reached out on social media. 

Melvin's happy news comes shortly after he became one of six DJs to lose their jobs in a huge BBC schedule shakeup that will see social media influencers and new talent drafted in as replacements. 

The radio station announced the news in an Instagram post in July, confirming that as part of the shakeup, longtime presenters Melvin, Rickie Haywood-Williams, Dean McCullough, Nat O'Leary, James Cusack and Swarzy will be leaving their shows.

The post added: 'We thank them for their passion, creativity and dedication and wish them all the very best for whatever comes next.' 

Rickie, 46, and Melvin leave Radio 1 after seven years and five years presenting the mid-morning Live Lounge slot with co-presenter Charlie Hedges.

Melvin joined the station in 2019, switching from the Kiss Breakfast Show with his longtime broadcasting partners Rickie and Charlie to host the Radio 1 late-night slot.

Charlie, 40, will remain at Radio 1, and will now present the Live Lounge show with Jeremiah Asiamah, 28, from 10.30am to 1pm on weekday mornings.
