MasterChef Australia stars Sarah Todd and Declan Cleary face split rumours again as she unfollows him and takes off her engagement ring

MasterChef Australia couple Sarah Todd and Declan Cleary are once again facing split rumours.

The pair met and fell in love on the series in 2024 and have since welcomed twin daughters, but Sarah recently unfollowed Declan on social media and was seen in a clip without her engagement ring. 

In the footage, Sarah was seen promoting Delhi's iconic Kuremal Kulfi treats during a recent trip to India, as she energetically gestured to the fruit with her hands, clearly showing that she was not wearing the ring.

'We've all tried fruit inside ice cream but today I am doing something very different. It is ice cream inside a fruit!' Sarah excitedly told fans.

Declan is not featured at all in the clip, nor in any of her recent social media posts.

The Daily Mail has approached both Sarah and Declan for comment. 

Last month, insiders spoke out about recent split rumours circulating about the couple.

Their sudden distancing online led many to speculate whether the couple had split, but sources say the rumours are not true, according to New Idea.

Declan, 27, and Sarah, 38, have shared very few pictures together since their European holiday in September 2025. 

Sarah also failed to interact with the Father's Day post Declan shared, which was his first since welcoming their twin daughters Claudia and Charlotte. 

Declan has told friends he and Sarah have 'definitely not' separated, insiders told the publication.

'Their lives might look separate from the outside, but behind closed doors they are very much together,' the source said.

'They are making plans, looking for a home and building their future as a family. There is no split. 

'They have just realised that not every part of their relationship needs to be shared on social media.'

The insider went on to claim the pair have made a 'conscious decision to pull back' on social media, and in how they interact with each other online.  

Sarah is said to want to keep their family life private, though Declan is 'naturally more easygoing' and 'happy to let fans in'.  

They have since come to a compromise and decided to limit the aspects of their personal lives that they share with followers. 

The source said the pair are even looking to move into a bigger family home in Melbourne so they have space for their daughters and Sarah's son Phoenix.

Sarah shares her 15-year-old son with her ex-fiancé, Devinder Garcha.

The couple welcomed their twin daughters to the world on Christmas Eve.

The fan favourites met while filming MasterChef: Back to Win in 2024 and went public with their romance early in 2025.

Queenslander Sarah moved to Melbourne to be with Declan after their whirlwind romance.
