Days after the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star’s son died Feb. 23, she shared a heartbreaking tribute to the late 23-year-old.

“#godfirst #love #forever,” Mary—who shared Robert Jr. with Robert Cosby Sr.—captioned a throwback photo of the pair on Instagram Feb. 28. “I'm Going to miss you bubs.”

In the sweet snap, which the Bravo star posted alongside Jessica Mauboy’s “Time After Time,” the mother-son duo can be seen smiling for the camera.

Robert Jr. was found dead on Feb. 23 after officers "responded to a possible overdose," a spokesperson for the Salt Lake City Police Department told E! News. The medical examiner is still investigating the cause of death.

Two days later, Mary, 53, confirmed his passing.

"Our beloved son Robert Jr. has been called home to the Lord," Mary said in a Feb. 25 statement to TMZ. "Though our hearts ache, we take comfort in God’s promise and in knowing he is finally at peace. We are grateful for your prayers and trust in the Lord to carry us through this time of sorrow."

Following news of Robert's death, Bravo's Andy Cohen shared his condolences.

"Devastatingly sad news out of SLC," he wrote on Threads Feb. 25. "This is every parent's worst nightmare. My heart is broken for Mary, and I am sending all my love to her and Robert Sr."

Robert Jr.’s death comes less than one month after he was released from Salt Lake County Metro Jail after serving a two-month sentence, his attorney Clayton Simms told Page Six.

"It allowed him to sober up and start thinking clearly," Simms told the outlet. "He's looking forward to doing positive things. The difficulty is that he was slow to recognize the dissolution of his marriage. But now he understands the relationship is over, and he's moving forward."

Robert Jr.—whose legal and addiction troubles have been chronicled on his mom’s reality show—pleaded guilty to eight of 14 charges in December, according to court documents obtained by People, including felony property damage or destruction, violation of a pretrial protective order obtained by his estranged wife Alexiana Arian Smokoff, and criminal trespass on a dwelling with intent to cause annoyance, injury, or fear.
