Since first being brought to life by Elizabeth Olsen back in 2015's Avengers: Age of Ultron, the Scarlet Witch has become a key figure of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, it was way back in 1964 that her character was created, starring in The X-Men #4 as part of the Silver Age of Comic Books.

Also known as Wanda Maximoff, Scarlet Witch is initially written as a mutant with the ability to manipulate probability. However, over time, she was made into a fully fledged sorceress capable of wielding chaos magic and even altering the fabric of reality. As one of the most powerful figures in Marvel history, it is no wonder that she was brought to the big screen back in 2015, and has since been portrayed by Olsen in six Marvel movies, as well as starring in her very own spin-off show, WandaVision.

However, that is not the end of Scarlet Witch's portrayal in the media as, as of 2024, she has been a part of the Marvel Rivals' roster. Arriving as a Day One hero, she is a Duelist hero, able to cause large amounts of damage to enemies. As such, her official in-game lore reads as follows:

"Wanda Maximoff is adept at harnessing formidable chaos magic, casting hexes with the power to twist and reshape reality itself. Energy, space, and matter are mere playthings in the hands of Scarlet Witch!"

Now, almost two years on from launch, and Scarlet Witch has welcomed a myriad of different skins that represent the various eras of her history as part of the Marvel Universe. With these cosmetics available to purchase by players, there are more on the way with Marvel Rivals set to introduce a brand-new cosmetics line inspired by the MCU itself.

According to Moon Knight News on Twitter/X, Winter Soldier, Scarlet Witch, Hulk, and Spider-Man will receive skins based on their MCU counterparts and Scarlet Witch's will include the stunning red jacket and black dress combination that we first saw her wear in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Luckily, this social media post comes alongside drawings of the supposed skins, but as they have not yet been confirmed by NetEase, it is worth taking this leak with a pinch of salt. That being said, there is no denying that this is a skin that in-game Wanda deserves, especially as it features the first outfit we saw her in.

"New Scarlet Witch. YESSSSSSSS!" One user exclaimed. "I NEED IT. MY GIRL FINALLY GETS A NEW OUTFIT!" With the sentiment shared in other comments, it seems as though this would be a good addition to Marvel Rivals. Now, let us just hope that this leak is true...
