Martha Stewart boasted about the quality of her skin after addressing the swirl of speculation about her age-defying appearance at 85.

The world-renowned lifestyle tycoon posed with basketball star Karl-Anthony Towns for the 180th anniversary cover of Town & Country.

In their photo-shoot, Towns, 30, who has just married Kylie Jenner's gal pal Jordyn Woods, appeared almost comparable in age to Stewart.

Her luminously youthful features have attracted a persistent stream of plastic surgery rumors that she strenuously denied earlier this month.

However, she was not above a touch of self-flattery about her exquisitely preserved complexion when she was asked to name the 'fanciest' thing about herself.

'My beautiful hair and skin. I don’t mean to sound vain, but it does make a difference. It’s what people remember,' Stewart replied.

The Daily Mail has contacted a representative for Stewart for comment.

Her interview also offered fans a few glimpses of her dietary habits, with Stewart divulging that she never orders room service and that her signature cocktail is a 'Martha-tini' comprised of Zubrowka vodka and an orange slice.

Stewart's local eatery in New York is the Upper East Side celebrity hot spot Elio's, which she has frequented since the 1980s, the decade it opened.

Meanwhile, for special occasions, her Manhattan selections are both upscale Japanese restaurants – Masa in Columbus Circle and Joji under Grand Central Station.

If her 'fanciest neighbor' asked her to dinner, Stewart, who keeps a flock of over 200 chickens at her 153-acre farm in upstate New York, would bring 'a box of my beautiful eggs. They are the best.'

Fan rumors about her ageless looks reached a fever pitch in 2023 when she became the oldest-ever cover girl of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue at 81.

'I have not had any plastic surgery at all,' Stewart insisted this month, days after she turned 85, via People. 'I don't think I need it.'

However, she does avail herself of 'a little bit of fillers' from her 'superb dermatologist' Dr Dan Belkin, whom she visits 'maybe once every four months for touch-ups.'

She categorically closed the door on any major surgical overhaul, declaring: 'I'm not getting boobs done and hips and butts and stuff like that.'

Describing herself as 'more a maintenance kind of person,' she explained: 'I do facial exercises and have the best facials from Mario Badescu and Georgia Louise. Peptides are very good. I take a few peptides. So that’s what I do.'

Stewart credited her youthfulness to 'good genes' and a healthy lifestyle, sharing: 'My mom looked great at 95. We eat well. We don’t drink very much. We don’t smoke. We eat healthy food. We exercise daily. I horseback-ride.'

She disclosed to Pamela Anderson three years ago that her fitness regimen includes a Pilates session 'three mornings a week at 6:30am,' via Elle.

'I have nice bone structure and I’m strong and I’m healthy. But I work at it. I take care of myself. And I do have good heredity,' Stewart added.
