Amy Christopher has revealed she is pregnant in a sweet post to fans - just eight weeks after meeting her boyfriend Darren.

The Married At First Sight star, 36, announced her pregnancy on social media on Tuesday morning.

Amy shared a selection of snaps including a picture of a scan as well as a plaque that read 'Baby Pellow', which also revealed her due date as September 2026.

The reality star-turned Sky Sports pundit said: 'The secret's finally out… and the way I found out I was pregnant is not what you'd expect.

'Keeping this quiet has been torture. Anyone who knows me knows I'm a chronic oversharer. But I'm so happy to finally say… I'm having a baby.

'After losing the twins in 2019, there were times I wondered if I'd ever get to share news like this, so I feel incredibly grateful.

'I also want to gently acknowledge anyone reading this who might be struggling to conceive or has experienced loss. I know news like this can bring up difficult feelings and I'm truly sorry if it does. I'm thinking of you and sending so much love. If you're in that place, I really hope you can take this as a little bit of hope and keep the faith that it can happen.'

Discussing her pregnancy in an interview with Heat magazine, Amy revealed she and Darren have only been together officially since November, but have known each other for over two decades.

She credits dating app Hinge for reconnecting with dad-of-two Darren, who she first met when she was a travel agent and he was looking to book a trip with his then girlfriend.

Amy said: 'We had our first date on Bonfire Night, which is my favourite night of the year, and as the fireworks were going up, I just turned around and kissed him.

'But we've both said that neither one of us would have messaged each other. So Hinge brought us back together, basically.'

When it comes to what sort of mum she will be, Amy said she would support her child 'whatever they do'.

'Darren and I love our sport so it would be amazing if they wanted to be a footballer or rugby player. If they have a dream, then I'll definitely be supportive. I'll probably end up being a momager or something!'

During her time on MAFS, Amy split groom Joshua after their final vows, admitting during the reunion that things ended between them due to his 'lack of effort.'

A heartbroken Amy added at the time that Joshua also couldn't give a 'real reason' for their break-up.

Last year, Amy, who works as a sports presenter for channels including Sky Sports, said taking part in the show 'ruined her life' after work opportunities 'dried up'.

Amy previously suffered tragedy whilst pregnant with twins.

During her time on MAFS, she emotionally explained: 'I got pregnant with twins. One died, and I had to medically terminate the other one due to complications.'

She continued: That absolutely broke me.

'The two things I want is marriage and babies and I was so close to having both of those things and it didn't work out.

'For me the last straw was my mum having a stroke and she nearly died, that was a big eye opener and made me realise as an only child, when my mum goes, who do I have? I want that support system.'
