Married At First Sight groom Danny Hewitt appeared to be blowing off steam in Sydney during filming of the show when he stepped out with his Magic Men stripper friend Davey Hughes amid mounting tensions in his on-screen marriage.

The close mates were spotted strolling through the city, chatting away as they made their way along a dimly lit walkway.

Danny, 33, cut a casual figure in an all-white look - a plain T-shirt, matching shorts and sneakers, which showcased his muscular physique and heavily tattooed limbs.

He accessorised with a black baseball cap worn backwards on his head and added a touch of colour with a stylish gold chain necklace.

Meanwhile, his stripper friend Davey rocked a slick, casual monochromatic look in a plain grey tee, black pants and white sneakers.

Davey's loose-fitting outfit helped showcase his muscular, chiselled frame, and he had a huge grin on his face as he kept pace with Danny.

The pair looked to be in great spirits as they chatted animatedly.

At one point, Danny appeared to confide in his close friend as they leaned in and whispered something to one another.

The two men then shared a warm embrace outside a venue.

The reality TV star is good friends with several Magic Men strippers, who work for his close friend and MAFS best man Will Parfitt, a male stripper and a Channing Tatum impersonator.

The sighting comes amid ongoing drama for Danny and his TV bride Bec Zacharia.

There was maximum drama during Sunday night's explosive episode of MAFS.

Bride Bec Zacharia faced off with her nemesis Gia Fleur at the commitment ceremony, with Gia once again sharing an explosive secret about Bec's groom Danny Hewitt.

The trio have had tensions ever since Gia claimed that Danny approached her and said Gia was 'his type' more so than his wife.

Danny denied he ever made the comments, and Bec claimed to believe him - even calling Gia a liar.

But behind closed doors, Gia insisted that, when the cameras were off, Bec admitted that she believed Gia's story.

Gia confronted Bec with the confession, and revealed that Bec said that she was worried she'd have to leave the show if she admitted that she believed that Danny's eye had wandered towards Gia.

Danny chimed in, saying that he doesn't like women covered in tattoos like Gia is – and Bec broke down in tears.
