Mario Lopez will guest star as George Lopez's fitness-obsessed lawyer cousin Manny on the upcoming season three finale of NBC's Lopez vs Lopez. See him flex in E! News' exclusive first look.
George Lopez Says Co-Starring With Daughter Mayan on 'Lopez vs Lopez' Is Priceless
Lopez vs Lopez fans are about to be pumped (literally) by this exciting casting news.
Mario Lopez is set to guest star on the NBC sitcom's upcoming season three finale next year, and E! News has the exclusive first look at the Saved By the Bell alum's highly anticipated appearance.
In the sneak peek images, Mario plays George Lopez’s cousin Manny, a lawyer and very passionate fitness enthusiast. George seeks out Manny's services after his mother Elsa locks the family out of their house.
"As a certified lawyer and uncertified personal trainer, Manny’s a jack-of-all-trades and a master of none," reads NBC's description. "While he may not be a primo lawyer, he’s a primo primo to George. He may not be able to do much when Elsa locks the family out of their house, but give him six weeks and he’ll get you in the best shape of your life."
In several sneak peek images, Mario flaunts his massive biceps while wearing some not-so-formal attorney attire (a.k.a. joggers and a tank top).
George, his daughter Mayan (Mayan Lopez) and her fiancé Quinten (Matt Shively) look hilariously puzzled by Manny's unprofessional getup during a meeting in his office, which is filled with workout gear.
"It was a so much fun joining the cast for the final episode of season three and to play George's cousin," Mario shared with E! in an exclusive statement. "The whole production made me feel welcome from the moment I stepped on set. I can't wait for people to see what we put together."

Mario is just the latest name on a long list of iconic Lopez vs Lopez guest stars. Most recently, Hollywood legend Rita Moreno reunited with George to play his late grandmother Dolores in a Dia de Los Muertos-themed Halloween episode. (The two first worked together on The George Lopez Show in 2007.)

"She means so much to our culture, but also a lot to me, so to be able to do scenes that are funny yet they’re more dramatic with her is maybe, aside from Mayan, the best gift that I think I’ve ever had," George told The Wrap earlier this month. "To do something with her and still have her be sharp at 93 and play all the moments and really step on it. When Rita says something twice, know that she’s going to that place, and I go with her."
See Mario make his Lopez vs Lopez debut Friday, Feb. 7, at 8:30 p.m. on NBC.
(E! and NBC are both part of the NBCUniversal family)
