PBS Masterpiece has handed detective drama Maigret a second season, with filming already underway in Budapest.

This is the backdrop to the adaptation of three Georges Simonsen novels: The Hanged Man of Saint-Pholien, Maigret’s Revolver and The Yellow Dog.
