Lucy Liu joins Camila Alves and Teyana Taylor as they lead glam parade at the TIME 2026 Women of the Year Gala

Lucy Liu, Camila Alves, and Teyana Taylor were among the glamorous guests at the TIME 2026 Women of the Year Gala on Tuesday.

The prestigious ceremony, held at The West Hollywood EDITION hotel in Los Angeles, celebrated 16 trailblazing women - including Liu and Taylor - from the worlds of entertainment, sports, activism, and business. 

Charlie's Angels star Liu, 57, dazzled in a plunging black gown with delicate sparkling embellishments. 

Liu was recognized for her lasting acting career and her advocacy for Asian representation in Hollywood.

Alves, 43, who's the wife of actor Matthew McConaughey, 56, wowed in a long ivory coat dress, which she paired with white heels. The Brazilian model was joined by her daughter Vida, 16, who matched her in a black blazer dress.

Meanwhile Oscar-nominee Taylor, 35, showcased her incredible style in a dramatic sculptural burgundy and black gown. 

The showstopping design featured a sparkling fringe skirt and a glittering embellished detail at the waist. 

Taylor paired her pixie haircut with chunky statement earrings.

The One Battle After Another star is a top contender for Best Supporting Actress at this Sunday's Academy Awards, marking her first-ever Oscar nomination for her breakout role as Perfidia Beverly Hills.

'Even if I go home empty-handed, I have won,' she told Time in her February cover story.

She also spoke about her bond with 'awards-season bestie' Jacob Elordi.  

'We're young, we're blessed, we're being celebrated - this is the time to be happy and to have fun with it, especially in a space that some people take so serious, and some people are cold, some people are robotic.'

'I know to the world, it looks spicy, but we're literally just in our own little world… Half the time we’re talking about having the same haircut, going mullet for mullet.' 

Speaking of her hectic schedule, she shared, 'I love when it's hard - that means it's of purpose. I want everything that is supposed to be mine. And I'm going to work my a** off to make sure that I see that.' 

Isla Fisher, 50, looked sensational at the event, wearing a ruched fiery red gown. She accessorized with turquoise earrings.

Law and Order SVU star Mariska Hargitay, 62, was effortlessly elegant in a white gown with a sultry front slit.

The actress, who was also among this year's honorees, added height to her look with metallic heels.

Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix, 40, appeared ethereal as she graced the red carpet in a flowing see-through white gown. 

Sheryl Lee Ralph, 69, is also among the distinguished honorees for 2026. The actress looked incredible in a red hot sleeveless dress.

In her interview with Time, Ralph reflected on finally getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame last year, and the advice Robert De Niro gave her on set of the 1992 film Mistress.

'He said, "You're a damn good actress, and that's too bad, because Hollywood is not looking for you - so you better climb that mountain and wave that red flag and let them know that you are there,"' she recalled him saying.

'It was hard. I could have given up. I could have stopped when it looked like it just wasn't going to happen. But I act, I sing, I perform, because that is my joy.'

Selling Sunset alum Chrishell Stause, 44, sizzled in a gold dress that showed a glimpse of her toned legs. 

Country singer Brandi Carlile, 44, also made this year's list. The star showed off her cool style in a burgundy suit and black boots.

Comedian Kathy Griffin, 65, was chic in an elegant black dress cinched at the waist with a leather belt. 

Other stars that snagged a spot on the list this year include Hamnet director Chloe Zhao, American hurdler Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, painter Amy Sherald, Sister Norma Pimentel, lawyer Reshma Saujani, and activist Mahnoor Omer.

Motivational speaker and author Mel Robbins was also honored with the title, along with CEO and president of Vertex Pharmaceuticals Reshma Kewalramani, midwife Isata Dumbuya, social worker Safeena Husain and Ulta CEO Kecia Steelman.
