Prime Video‘s God of War has added four new actors to its growing cast: Louis Cunningham (Marie Antoinette), as a series regular, and on the recurring cast, Ben Chapple (Good Cop Bad Cop), Evelyn Miller (Foundation), and Island Austin (Insidious 6).

The Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios’ TV adaptation of PlayStation’s ancient mythology-themed video game hails from writer, showrunner and executive producer Ronald D. Moore (OutlanderFor All Mankind).

God of War follows a father and son — Kratos (Ryan Hurst) and 10-year-old Atreus (Callum Vinson) — as they embark on a journey to spread the ashes of their wife and mother, Faye. Through their adventures, Kratos tries to teach his son to be a better god, while Atreus tries to teach his father how to be a better human.

The cast also includes Teresa Palmer as Phoebe/Sif, Thor’s wife and the goddess of family; Max Parker as Heimdall, the Watchman of Asgard, and one of Odin’s sons; Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, who will portray the larger-than-life ThorAlastair Duncan, reprising his role of Mimir from the video game series; as well as Jeff Gulka and Danny Woodburn, who will play brothers Sindri and Brok. We also recently announced the addition of Ed Skrein as Baldur.

Details regarding who the new additions will play can be found below.

Cunningham will play Modi, Sif and Thor’s middle child. Modi has a gentle disposition and an obsessive, almost insatiably curious mind. He loves puzzles and complex problems—to such an extent that he often gets lost within them and forgets everything else around him.

Chapple will play Magni, Sif and Thor’s eldest son. Handsome and adventurous, Magni is an excellent hunter and natural ladies’ man, but the life of an immortal playboy has begun to feel hollow and Magni is yearning for a greater purpose. He is extremely protective of his younger brother, Modi.

Miller will play Gna, Odin’s Valkyrie commander. A fierce warrior, she is devoted to her duty with a loyalty to Odin that borders on fanatical. Highly disciplined and uncompromising, she is dedicated to serving the realm, occasionally at the expense of her own well-being.

Austin will play Thrud, Sif and Thor’s youngest child. Thrud is precocious, inquisitive, curious, and fearless, with a natural yearning for knowledge. She’s gentle and kind, and often acts as a peacemaker with the rest of her troubled family. Her grandfather, Odin, sees seeds of greatness in Thrud (mostly because she reminds him of himself) and the two have a special bond.

Given a two-season order last month, God of War is co-produced by Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios in association with PlayStation Productions and Tall Ship Productions. In addition to Moore, executive producers include Maril Davis, Cory Barlog, Naren Shankar, Matthew Graham, Asad Qizilbash, Jeff Ketcham, Hermen Hulst, Roy Lee and Brad Van Arragon. Joe Menosky, Marc Bernardin, Tania Lotia and Ben McGinnis co-executive produce. Frederick E.O. Toye (ShōgunThe Boys) has signed on to direct the first two episodes.

Cunningham is represented by Sequel Management. Chapple is represented by Strand Entertainment, The X Division and Goodman, Genow, Schenkman. Miller is represented by United Agents. Island is represented by The Osbrink Agency, Monster Talent Management and Skrzyniarz & Mallean.
