Lori Loughlin had fans speculating she was wearing a wig when she debuted a full layered bob with sassy long bangs at a LACMA event this week.

Now her hairstylist, David Robert Naumann, is squashing those rumors and confirming it was a true hair transformation for the 61-year-old actress, per Us Weekly.

After one fan commented, 'Cute– but it’s a wig,' on the outlet’s Instagram page, Naumann clearly felt compelled to answer.

‘It’s not a wig. I’d know ;)' he replied with a heart emoji.

Naumann went to describe Loughlin's desire for a bold new look on his own Instagram account, writing, 'Chop chop for Lori yesterday.'

Loughlin, who is said to still be 'extremely angry' at her ex Mossimo Giannulli, was almost unrecognizable as she attended the Los Angeles County Museum of Art Opening Gala for the David Geffen Galleries on Thursday.

The Full House alum stunned in a shimmering silver gown that had a high slit going up one leg and a pair of stiletto heels that added a few inches to her height.

Her makeover comes six months after her separation from Giannulli after nearly 28 years of marriage, though they have yet to officially file for divorce.

She was joined by her daughters Isabella Rose, 27, and Olivia Jade, 26, who she shares with Giannulli.

The split reportedly followed Loughlin's discovery of 'incriminating' texts and emails on Giannulli’s phone, per Page Six.

'Truly, the tipping point came when Lori found a bunch of text messages,' a source told the outlet.

'They are living apart and taking a break from their marriage. There are no legal proceedings at this time,' Loughlin's representative told the Daily Mail at the time.

In January, it was revealed the couple have been leading separating lives since the separation.

'Lori is still extremely angry with him,' a source told People, while another insider stated that Giannulli 'thinks she's a lovely person and an incredible mom' and 'wants everything resolved quietly.'

A source also told People how their daughters feel about their parents separating.

'It's obviously been tough, but Olivia and Bella aren't taking sides. They both love their parents and just want them to be happy.'

The insider added that there is 'no resentment' and their daughters are 'focused on keeping things peaceful and staying close as a family.'

In February, Giannulli was spotted with stylist Hannah Harrison for the third time during an outing in Sherman Oaks.

The pair were first seen together in October of last year, and afterwards the stylist told Us Weekly that they were only 'good friends' and they only met up at a store so she could pull clothes for his brand.

'We were not there together [and] we are not dating. We are good friends. He was just meeting me at the store,' she said.

Harrison added that both she and Giannulli had arrived and left the location separately.

However, that sighting was followed by a second meeting the following month at West Hollywood nightclub Zouk LA.

Loughlin's 'revenge makeover' comes six months after her separation from husband Mossimo Giannulli (the estranged couple are pictured in April 2009)

Two months her separation from the fashion designer, the actress was spotted with a male TV executive in Los Angeles.

The pair had lunch together and representatives later told the Daily Mail that the man was 'an executive at Starz.'

The estranged couple were previously caught up in the infamous school admissions scandal. They allegedly paid $500,000 in bribes to gain entry for their daughters into USC as recruits for the crew team, even though they didn't actually play the sport.

Loughlin serves two months in prison and was fined $150,000 and ordered to complete 100 hours of community service. Giannulli spent five months behind bars and was fined $250,000 and ordered to complete 250 hours of community service.
