Lisa Vanderpump Reacts to 'Vanderpump Rules' Cancellation Rumors
Don't put your glasses down just yet, Vanderpump Rules fans.
Because Lisa Vanderpump has a message for Bravo viewers who are worried about the reality series after it was announced the network is doing a complete cast reboot for season 12.
"I think everything we do is going to have a different energy to it," the SUR owner exclusively told E! News at the grand opening of her new restaurant Pinky's by Vanderpump at Flamingo Las Vegas. "Not gonna try and compete with the old Vanderpump Rules. It's just gonna be totally different there. Still we'll go back to the premise of the complications of running a restaurant and the staff in it. And that always has a story to tell." (Watch E! News tonight, Dec. 10, at 11 p.m. for more exclusive scoop from Lisa.)
While she called the 11 years of filming with the original stars "a wonderful experience," Lisa noted, "It was time to do something different. Stories were kind of closing up a little bit. I think people, they weren't that shocked that we decided to do this now."
But Lisa promised she'll stay close with Ariana Madix, Tom Schwartz, Scheana Shay are more of the beloved former SUR-vers.
"I've grown to love them all," the 64-year-old gushed, "I'll miss the whole group."

Lisa also shared that they have not yet started filming VPR season 12, mostly because she's been so busy opening up Pinky's in Sin City.
"We're very proud of it," the restauranteur told E!. "I think just the fact that Caesar's Palace give us so much creative license. It's so beautiful, so decadent. It's a real nod to the 1930s, because we can't forget that Flamingo is one of the first hotels on the Strip. So, it was really like, 'Let's think what we could do to feel like you're stepping back in time, like in a bygone era.'"
