Lisa Vanderpump and husband Ken Todd have been sued for more than $195,000 by a handyman who claims the 'hazardous' conditions at the celeb couple's Beverly Hills estate led him to injure his leg.

The 65-year-old Bravo beauty and her spouse, 80, were named in a legal complaint filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on November 25, 2025, and reviewed by the Daily Mail.

The handyman, Eric Nieto, said in his filing that he was hurt doing work on the $14 million estate owned by The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum and her husband on November 25, 2023.

He is asking for $150,000 for pain and suffering; and for an additional $45,199.71 in medical costs related to the incident, according to a May 8 court filing.

Nieto told the court he 'had been hired' by the reality star and her husband 'to perform handyman work at the property and was on the premises at [their] request and direction.'

The Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for Vanderpump for further comment on the story.

According to his legal complaint, Nieto said he had been 'required to use an interior stairway leading down to the basement' of the home as part of 'his assigned work.'

Nieto said in the court filing that as he 'walked down the basement stairs while carrying out his assigned duties, his left foot became stuck on a stair tread.'

The tread caused Nieto 'to lose his balance and fall,' his lawyers said in the complaint.

The damage to the stairway was due to 'dangerous and poorly maintained condition' of the area in the home, the handyman told the court.

Nieto said he 'suffered a severe injury to his left lower leg and ankle' as 'a direct result' of the workplace incident.

He said he had to undergo 'open reduction and internal fixation surgery, immobilization, and extensive follow-up care, as well as additional injuries to his back and leg' due to his fall.

Nieto, as a result of the fall, injury and aftercare, 'continues to suffer pain, functional limitations, and will require further medical treatment,' his lawyer said.

Vanderpump and Todd were obligated to exercise reasonable care of 'the ownership, maintenance, repair, and control of the premises' since they were 'directing and supervising' work on the premises, Nieto said in his complaint.

Vanderpump and Ken Todd were seen on April 16 in NYC

The handyman said that the couple breached those obligations by 'allowing the basement stairway to exist in a dangerous condition,' not inspecting or fixing it; and not warning him ahead of time.

The alleged negligence Vanderpump and Todd displayed as homeowners 'was a substantial factor' in Nieto getting injured, his lawyer said in the filing.

Nieto said in his complaint that 'after the fall, [he] received no medical assistance, no workers' compensation, and no monetary help, only a bucket of ice water.'

An insider close to the Bravo stars told TMZ Tuesday that the pair 'referred the matter to their homeowner's association' for further review.
