Lindsay Lohan shares first-ever glimpse of son Luai... more than a year after his birth

Lindsay Lohan shared images of her toddler Luai for the first time since his July 2023 birth on Friday.

The 38-year-old actress uploaded photos of her husband Bader Shammas, 36, and their 18-month-old to Instagram as they enjoyed a trip to the zoo.

Fans got to see the youngster in his father's arms, peering into an animal enclosure. Her son also got an up-close look at a slithering snake. 

Another shot showed of Luai dragging the Freaky Friday actress around the park as he sported an adorable yellow polka-dotted sunhat. 

The star also shared various other snaps in her January photo roundup, including loved-up selfies with her husband. She also shared another snap of herself with his relative, Yasmine Shammas.

The actress captioned her carousel of images with a simple heart emoji. 

Lindsay's family photos were a hit with her 15.5M followers, racking up thousands of likes and comments from fans praising the star for her dedication to motherhood.

'just living your best life, we love to see it! ❤️,' one fan account penned.

Another fan added, 'I love how private you are with your kid. That's beautiful.' While one chimed in, 'Love seeing you living the good life with your adorable family!'

The Irish Wish actress and her executive producer love met at a dinner with mutual friends in Dubai back in 2019 and said 'I do' two years later in 2021.

While filming Freakier Friday last year, Lindsay's on-screen mother Jaime Lee Curtis said the red-haired vixen went full 'mom mode' while on set. 

The 66-year-old declared the mother-of-one was 'always' in 'mom mode,' admitting, 'she just loves it. It's actually very hard to pull her away from mom mode.'

Although the fiery haired actress never brought her son to set during filming, Jaime shared that Bader would 'pick her up from work almost every day.' 

'Bader and Luai came and [would wait] for her in her trailer, and then they all go home together,' she gushed.

While at Disney’s D23 fan event to promote the film in August, the pair were asked who they would like to switch bodies with, like in their hit film, and Lohan said her baby.

'Maybe my baby,' Lohan responded. 'Just to see — because he is, so pure and just so happy, just to see life through his eyes, every day. He’s just this beautiful bundle of joy. I can’t think of anything else.'

Though Disney has yet to confirm an official release date, fans should expect to see Freakier Friday in theatres sometime in 2025.

Filming for the sequel began in June of 2024 with production wrapping in late August.

Curtis and Lohan portrayed a mother-teenage daughter duo who magically switch bodies in the 2003 adaptation of Mary Rodgers' 1972 Freaky Friday novel.
