The Lord of the Rings has been cropping up all over the place in recent months, as companies seek to further capitalize on its endless popularity as a fantasy franchise. As well as ongoing adaptations like The Rings of Power, we also now have confirmation that a huge budget video game is on the way from Warhorse Studios.
The fun doesn't stop there, though, as it has also been on a bit of a generational run in the LEGO space, with some absolute all-time sets releasing that fans must have been delighted with. Now, the next one of those sets has seemingly leaked, and it could easily be the best of the bunch if the designers manage to nail its most exciting elements.
As first reported by GameRant, via the r/Legoleak subreddit, a brand-new Lord of the Rings LEGO set centered around the iconic and legendary fortress of Helm's Deep could be on the way soon. This will supposedly be the next step for the ICONS range of releases attached to the franchise, many of which have been monumental sets that number in the thousands of pieces.
This new Helm's Deep LEGO set is currently rumored to contain 8,060 pieces and is reportedly set to release in June 2027, making it the second-largest LOTR set in history if it holds true. The complete list of sets that we have seen released over the last year or two is as follows:

The leak did not include any pricing information, though if we use the similarly sized Minas Tirith set as a guide, then it will almost certainly cost more than $600. It would also become the ninth-largest LEGO set overall with that piece count, beating out the iconic LEGO UCS Millennium Falcon, which only has 7,541 pieces.
This would also serve as the second time that fans have been given a Helm's Deep LEGO set, with their first run coming all the way back in 2012. That one only had a little over 1300 pieces, though, so we can certainly expect this one to be considerably bigger as and when it comes to public fruition.
The Lord of the Rings was criminally underserved by LEGO for a long time, particularly considering its relative popularity to Star Wars and Harry Potter, both of which have seen many sets release consistently over the years. That has changed significantly with this latest run, though, and it seems as though they are far from done bringing awesome sets to fans.
