Channel Seven's Larry Emdur has revealed he has received 'angry messages from around the world' after posting an innocent prank about Meghan Markle.
The TV host, 61, sparked outrage when he claimed the controversial A-lister had made a long list of 'don't ask' questions ahead of an interview on The Morning Show.
'Scheduled' to take place during the Duchess's upcoming tour Down Under, Larry touted the scoop as an 'exclusive', and announced the news on April 1 - as an April Fool's Day joke.
However, the Gold Logie winner appeared unfazed by the attacks from keyboard warriors.
'I'm still getting trolled, and angry messages from around the world, which of course I couldn't give a fat flying stuff about,' Larry said in an Instagram post on Wednesday.
'I posted it on April 1st, then it was sent around the world and landed in various feeds days later.

'So it somehow lost its April Fools sting, which I think is bloody hysterical, that constitutes a hugely successful April Fools gag in my book, anyway, if you're angry then just unfollow me ' coz I don't do angry.'
'I'm furious,' joked Seven Sunrise reporter David Woiwood, among Larry's followers, who show plenty of enthusiasm for the beloved TV star's naughty dig.
'Bahaha, well, I thought I was pretty good at spotting the April Fools jokes, but this one got me,' wrote another fan, while a third added, 'Aw, people need to stop being so angry all the time.'
Larry included a picture of the Duchess, which had a smiley face etched into it, in his post.
Meanwhile, the original post appeared to fool plenty of users on Reddit, with one person, based in the US, sharing Larry's prank on the platform on Monday.
'The Morning Show in Australia has invited Meghan for a television appearance,' the Reddit user said.
They continued: 'She accepted, but not before the show agreed to a host of restrictions.
'Her reps gave the presenter, Larry Emdur, a LONG list of questions that he cannot ask her, which seemed to surprise even him.'

They included Larry's 'announcement', where he shared details about his 'exclusive'.
'This is beyond massive! Ahead of her Australian tour The Duchess of Sussex has agreed to one single interview and IT IS WITH US!'
Larry added: 'Not gonna lie, the list of "don't ask" questions is long but we still can't wait.
'I've deliberately turned off the questions as I'm not interested in those nasty threads that can sometimes follow Meghan.'
'What topics, pray tell, are off limits?' said the Reddit user in their post.
'Her Netflix and As Ever failures, perhaps? Mr Nice Guy is calling her out in a rather unique way.'
Added another person to the thread: 'He's foolish to go along with the interview. If he can't ask questions, it's nothing more than a scripted puff piece.'
It comes after Meghan's upcoming trip to Australia may not be solely centred on her controversial 'Her Best Life Retreat' in Sydney - with newly uncovered details pointing to a possible strategic business play unfolding behind the scenes.
The Duchess of Sussex, 44, has discreetly locked in 12 Australian trademarks for her lifestyle brand, As Ever, according to filings with the Australian Government's intellectual property office.
The applications - initially lodged in September 2024 and approved in June last year - cover a wide-ranging list of categories. They include skincare, candles, gardening, clothing, event planning, jewellery and home décor.
Insiders say it would be an opportune time for Meghan to try a new business venture after her multi-million dollar partnership with Netflix came to an end.
