Kyle Richards Details Holiday Plans With Mauricio Umansky Amid Separation (Exclusive)
In this town, Kyle Richards calls it as she sees it.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star agreed with former costar Camille Grammer's assessment that Kyle's estranged husband Mauricio Umansky is having a midlife crisis amid their separation.
On the Dec. 17 episode of RHOBH, Kyle told Camille—who got divorced from Kelsey Grammer in 2010 after 13 years of marriage—that Mauricio is "at this bachelor pad with no responsibilities," which is a scenario that Camille knew all too well.
"Nothing to do with the day to day," the 56-year-old commiserated. "It's a party for them! Midlife crisis, this is fun, young girls..."
While Kyle laughed off her assessment in the moment, the Halloween Ends actress—who shares daughters Farrah, 36, Alexia, 28, Sophia, 24, and Portia, 16, with Mauricio—admitted that "probably there is some truth to that" during the episode's after-show.
"I would say this to his face, which I actually have," the 55-year-old explained. "Kind of watching how he's been navigating through this situation, there's been times where I've thought, 'Oh, this is giving major midlife crisis vibes.'"
The reality star pointed to an eyebrow-raising recent purchase of Mauricio's as an example.
"All the way down to the car he bought for house in Aspen that I just called a 'midlife crisis mobile,'" Kyle shared. "It's just a big monster truck that isn't...the outside is, like rough sandpaper-y, and it's got these big wheels. It looks like a monster coming through town. It's not like one you see around, and everyone stares and you're like, 'Oh, god!'"

The mother of four also provided some insight into why Camille—whose divorce was spotlighted on the first two seasons of Beverly Hills—weighed in on her separation from Mauricio to begin with.
"Listen, when you're in this group and you have leftover feelings, it's always going to bring out the worst in you," Kyle explained. "And obviously Camille, her divorce was very highlighted in this group, and it was very impactful on her life. So, when someone talks about it, she can...it comes up! She can relate to that it obviously affected her a lot."
As for Kyle and Mauricio's next steps, the reality star recently revealed that the former couple isn't quite ready to file for divorce quite yet.
"We just haven't felt the rush to do that," Kyle exclusively told E! News last month. "I think it's been more of a psychological thing for us and for our family. We've been getting along and there was no pressure from either side that we needed to do that."

"We are the best of friends, we love each other, we want the best for each other, we co-parent together," she added during a separate appearance on E! News. "We don't live together, we're allowed to do whatever we want. But we don't want the rest of our life to change. We're just okay the way things have been."
