Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker get into the spooky spirit at his son's 'vampire ball' birthday bash... as rocker recovers from nerve surgery

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker had a chance to test out their Halloween costumes early this year.

The reality TV star, 47, and the rocker, 50, stepped out to celebrate his son Landon's 23rd birthday at a lavish 'vampire ball' over the weekend.

The Blink-182 drummer, who recently underwent surgery, took to his Instagram Stories on Sunday to share a glimpse of their gothic looks as they made their way to the event.

Kardashian sizzled in a low-cut lace dress paired with a black cross necklace for the dark fantasy celebration. 

Both she and her husband had matching trickles of fake blood dripping from the corners of their mouths.

Barker matched his wife in an all-black outfit, while his son rocked a full leather look.  

Barker fathered Landon and daughter Alabama, 20, during his marriage to Playboy model Shanna Moakler, 51. 

Landon also shared a number of snaps from the bash to his Instagram, crediting photographer Maxamillion Polo, who labelled the party 'landon’s vampire ball' on his social media.

Landon captioned his post, 'Nobody likes you when you’re 23' – a famous lyric from the blink-182 hit song What's My Age Again?

One photo showed Landon blowing the candles on a black birthday cake, while another saw him posing with his dad and stepmom. 

His dad commented, writing: 'Love you forever.'

Paris Hilton added: 'Happy Birthday.'

Last year Kardashian and Barker channeled the beloved characters from The Nightmare Before Christmas, Jack Skellington and Sally, on Halloween.

The outing comes days after Barker shared a health update after undergoing surgery for his 'numb' arm while posing with Kardashian in his hospital bed.

He took to his Instagram stories on Wednesday to reveal that he underwent the surgery to fix a nerve and is already on the mend.

'I had surgery yesterday,' he wrote. 'My arm, hand and fingers have been numb since a show I played last month.'

Barker explained that he 'did a nerve test Monday after my show and turns out I needed a cubital tunnel release to fix the nerve.'

The star said he 'wanted to get ahead of it and get it over with so that I can keep playing the way I play for a long long time. Should be good in a few weeks.'

He then humorously added in conclusion, 'Not sure why my wife looks happy about this.'

Barker included a selfie that Kardashian took as she cozied up next to the drummer with a small smile on her face.

He was pictured in a hospital gown and cap over his head as he looked out a window nearby.

Just one day earlier, the reality star doted on her husband in the hospital before he underwent surgery.

Kardashian was seen planting a passionate kiss on her rocker partner ahead of his procedure.

The pair put on a typically loved-up display as Barker captioned the snap, 'My beautiful wife by my side.'

His daughter Alabama was also by his side.

Three years earlier, the drummer had surgery on his finger for a torn ligament.

In a post shared on Instagram in March 2023, Barker revealed that he had undergone surgery for a torn finger ligament.

He later revealed that the procedure had been a 'success' before giving a special shout-out to his fans.

'Thank you for all the love and prayers and understanding this week as I went into surgery,' he penned at the time.

'So grateful for Dr. Shin and that my surgery was a success so that I can keep doing what I love and see you guys on tour soon.'

He was pictured lying in a hospital bed with his left hand wrapped in a cast. Kardashian reposted the same image along with the caption, 'thank you God, amen.'

The artist and Kardashian have been married since 2022 and share one son, Rocky, two.

In addition to Rocky, Kardashian is mom to Mason, 16, Penelope, 14, and Reign, 11, with ex Scott Disick. And Barker also shares stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya, 27, with Moakler.

Barker's Hulu documentary Louder Than Fear was released on August 13.

In the film, it was revealed that Kardashian suffered a 'devastating' miscarriage six months into her romance with the rockstar.

Barker also discussed the couple's love story, which began in 2021 after years of friendship.

Kardashian, who revealed they were going to name their daughter Tulip, said in the documentary: 'When we lost the baby, we were devastated. We cried for days.'

He revealed he fell 'madly in love' with Kardashian and they felt blessed when they found out she was pregnant.

They were expecting a girl, and even shared the news with loved ones before a three-month scan revealed the tragic news that their baby no longer had a heartbeat.

The couple went on to welcome Rocky on November 1, 2023, after failed in vitro fertilization attempts culminated in the star ultimately conceiving naturally.
