Inside Kim Zolciak's six-bedroom, 4,000sq ft Georgia mansion, her teenage son Kroy 'KJ' Biermann Jr awaits trial for his sexual battery and sodomy case.
The 15-year-old, who has pleaded not guilty to all seven felony charges in the sex crimes case, could find himself spending life in prison if convicted.
It is the latest blow for reality star Zolciak, 48, who has been battling her own demons, according to court documents from her ongoing divorce from former football player Kroy Biermann, which detail claims of her staggering spending over the years.
After 11 years of marriage, both parties filed for divorce separately in 2023 and soon began a back-and-forth of damning accusations.
In April 2024, Biermann, now 41, submitted a spreadsheet in court documents obtained by the Daily Mail, alleging that Zolciak spent a total of $662,197 at high-end designer stores from 2016 to 2023.
Stores such as Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Agent Provocateur, Chanel and Versace were named – with the Saks account alone totaling more than $305,000.
Kim Zolciak's alleged extravagant spending has been claimed in divorce documents and footage obtained by the Daily Mail. She and her ex, Kroy Biermann, have been embroiled in a nasty divorce since 2023

Seemingly in need of cash, by 2023 the mom-of-six was offloading her designer purses and shoes via Instagram, including a $7,500 Chanel bag.
Biermann asserted Zolciak's staggering spending habits in the 2024 court filing, claiming she had spent $161,912.87 on Georgia lottery tickets and bitcoin in 2021. He said she also spent $65,966.95 on the same purchases in 2022.
Biermann has also accused Zolciak of compulsive online gambling.
In court filings, he included information from their joint bank account statement that showed hundreds of transactions from Coinbase, Inc, a prediction markets app.
A bank account statement from the beginning of April 2022 showed a balance of $127,287. They closed out the month with only $760.
In his 2023 Motion for Psychological Evaluation court document, obtained by the Daily Mail, the former Atlanta Falcons linebacker alleged that Zolciak 'presented very troubling behavior,' claiming that she 'acknowledged spending substantial time and marital funds on gambling and other games of choice.'
This, he claimed in the court filing, sparked concern for the wellbeing of their minor children since he believed she was 'so consumed with online gambling that she is unable to properly care for the children.'
The exes share joint legal custody of their minor children KJ, Kash, 14, and 12-year-old twins Kaia and Kane. Biermann currently has primary physical custody following a court order by the judge. Zolciak, a former cast member of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, also has two daughters Brielle, 29, and Ariana, 24, who are estranged from their adoptive father Biermann.

Zolciak said she feared that Biermann would take her expensive designer handbags (pictured in body cam footage), since he argued it was community property
Body cam footage obtained by the Daily Mail from a police visit on May 4, 2023 showed Biermann telling cops about her gambling problem.
'Basically, in the last two-and-a-half years she gambled away about $700,000,' he alleged. 'The total in the marriage probably about $1.5 million dollars, and she does it online illegally, so that's a major process I'm dealing with with the process of divorce.'
He went on to claim that they had 'no assets' because she had 'decimated everything' and that her spending habits had gotten 'significantly worse.'
'The minute she wakes up, to the minute she goes to bed, in the middle of the night,' he claimed, while noting that she plays online slot machines on her phone.
'I'm dealing with a compulsive, behavioral addict and a narcissist to the extreme level.'
During an episode of her reality show Don't Be Tardy that aired in October 2016, viewers watched Zolciak lose $25,000 while visiting a Montana casino.
'I bet big to win big, but when you're losing, it definitely becomes more of a nuisance than anything, and then I start getting p****d,' she said. 'When I start losing, I start losing my f*****g mind.'
In another episode from 2014, Zolciak admitted she had lost around $250,000 while on a trip to the Bahamas.
She also revealed how she uses scratch tickets 'to get my thrill' when she doesn't have access to a casino.
'In Georgia, there is not a casino, so the closest thing to a slot machine is a scratch ticket,' she said in the episode. 'Every time we head to Destin, Kroy and I stop at the same gas station and get our scratch tickets. I am not sure how much I won this time, but I think I broke even. It's all in good fun, and I do it responsibly.'
In the body cam footage obtained by the Daily Mail, Zolciak was furious that Biermann attempted to hold onto her '$180,000 worth of handbags,' some of which are 'collector' purses.
Biermann included bank statements as exhibits in court filings to show the Judge that the account balance went from $127,000 to $760 in one month
Multiple transactions from 'COINBASEINC' were seen in the bank statement from April 2022
Biernmann also told the court that Zolciak spent over $200,000 on Bitcoin and lottery tickets between 2021 and 2022
In court documents, Biermann accused Zolciak of having a compulsive online gambling problem (Zolciak pictured at a casino while filming reality show Don't Be Tardy in 2020)
'She's not one to work to make money and rather gets her money other ways - whether it be from her hobbies or from the men that she dates,' one well-placed insider told the Daily Mail.
'She completed nursing school but never pursued it. Instead, she found other ways of earning money faster than working a normal 9-5 job. She's never had a real job.'
Zolciak's love of wine has also proved costly. In an episode of Don't Be Tardy, she revealed she was trying to obtain a permit to have wine shipped from Italy by her 'wine guy' so she didn't have to drink 'old, sh***y wine.'
Her poison of choice is an Opus One Napa Valley red, which retails from $300 to more than $1,000 per bottle. Last year she posted a photo of an Italian red wine Tignanello, which costs $110 to $185 per bottle.
In addition, Zolciak has also splashed out on cosmetic procedures and beauty treatments, with the reality star appearing alongside her daughter, Brielle, on Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind in July 2025.
'I've done my boobs a few times and then I had a tummy tuck,' she revealed on the show. 'I did have filler in my lips. I do Botox all the time.'
In addition, she has said she got Ultherapy, a non-invasive, skin-tightening treatment, to improve the look of her jawline, and had a 'mommy makeover.'
In an interview with the Botched show's plastic surgeon, Dr Terry Dubrow, he told the Daily Mail in August 2025 that Kim was 'filled to the gills with filler' and he 'wouldn't be surprised if she had more enhancements in the future.'
He also said that celebrities like Zolciak have asked for a 'free or discounted' procedure.
So perhaps it is no surprise that her wild spending habits have landed her in hot water with the law.
A federal tax lien was filed against the reality star on December 11, 2025, for $163,804 in unpaid taxes for the periods ending December 2019, 2023 and 2024.
This number adds to the outstanding taxes she and her ex owe to the government. A federal tax lien was filed against them in April 2023 for owing $1,147,834.67 for their 2013, 2017 and 2018 taxes.
Zolciak's love of wine has also proved costly. In this photo from 2019 with her daughter she mentioned one of her favorites: 'Nashville Nights w/@briellebiermann and Opus One' (Source: Kim Zolciak/Instagram)

She has also been sued a number of times by other debt collectors, including American Express and Saks/Capital One, as well as other attorneys for outstanding fees.
Saks/Capital One filed a complaint in August 2023, claiming the TV personality hadn't paid the principal sum of $156,080.64. It was later dismissed without prejudice in February 2024 after months of inactivity and no response from the housewife.
Separately, she has been involved in a legal battle with American Express since 2018. In September 2021, Amex filed an affidavit of continuing garnishment against the star after she failed to pay the default judgment of $215,847.68, plus $29 for court costs, bringing the total owed to $215,876.68. The credit card company has yet to receive this chunk of money, court records show.
Following the sale of their $2.75 million marital home in January 2025, Zolciak was forced to move. Court records show that she currently lives in a 4,000sq ft, $1.3 million new build in Alpharetta, Georgia, with six bedrooms and six-and-a-half bathrooms. Her rent is estimated to be around $4,500 per month, according to real estate websites.
In the past, Zolciak's spending habits have forced her to borrow money from her two oldest daughters. Ariana claimed on Bravo's Next Gen NYC that her parents 'took my money,' adding: 'I never got a dollar.'
Zolciak deflected when questioned about how much she had borrowed during an episode of Watch What Happens Live in August 2025.
'Actually, the rug was pulled out of the Zolciaks' and yeah, Ariana's money was spent on bills, to be honest. I was left holding the bag for the family,' she said.
The reality star added that Brielle also 'paid an electric bill here and there,' since she was 'left with nothing' and 'had to figure it out fast.'

Zolciak's boyfriend Kyle Mowitz's ex has claimed in divorce documents that he is using money from their trust funds to pay for the reality star's extravagant lifestyle (pictured on August 17)
Ariana told People magazine in November that her mom 'always' pays her back, adding that 'it's definitely gotten better' since she's 'done a few shows' and is 'working really hard.'
Zolciak received a small sum for a brief appearance on episode five of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip on September 6. She will also be appearing on season three of Netflix's reality competition show Squid Game: The VIP Challenge, which she teased in March.
Around the same time the promo came out, Zolciak filmed an 'untitled' Girls Trip-style reality show for Prime Video in the Dominican Republic. One source told the Daily Mail that she was compensated around $100,000 to $150,000 to appear.
Zolciak has been dating successful entrepreneur Kyle Mowitz, 45, since spring 2025 after being introduced through a friend. Biermann, meanwhile, is dating Mowitz's estranged wife Jillian Green, 42.
In recent legal disputes between Mowitz and Green, she slammed her ex for using the trust funds to pay for 'an extravagant personal lifestyle' for his 'celebrity girlfriend' and 'her family, rather than [Green] and their two children.'
The expenses he incurred for her – which she says are 'undisputed material facts' – as seen in filings from May and June 2026, include 'multiple vacations at expensive resorts'; Zolciak's divorce attorneys' fees, rent, household items, gambling money, expensive clothes and shoes; her children and their dates; her psychic medium; and her 'lashes, hair stylists, nails,' laser treatments, facials, and so forth.
The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Zolciak and Bravo for comment.
