Amanda Bynes, 40, steps out in a miniskirt amid Ozempic weight loss journey

Amanda Bynes stepped out in Los Angeles this week after embarking on a GLP-1 weight loss journey.

The actress, 40, looked fit and carefree in a pleated miniskirt and a grey hooded sweatshirt.

While her outfit was simple, Bynes decided to experiment with her look by wearing gold grills on her lower teeth and multiple nose piercings.

The Easy A star revealed in December that she had lost 28lbs with the assistance of Ozempic.

At the time, she said that her goal was to lose around 50lbs all up.

Bynes left the entertainment industry over a decade ago amid mental health and substance abuse issues.

Her last major role was in the romantic comedy Easy A, starring Emma Stone and Penn Badgley.

The film was a box office hit, grossing $75million at the box office off of its relatively small budget of just $8million.

Despite the film's success, Bynes announced at the time that she was retiring from acting to pursue a fashion career.

She was temporarily attached to the 2011 Farrelly brothers comedy Hall Pass, but she dropped out of the film and was replaced by Alexandra Daddario.

These days, the former actress is keeping busy by dabbling in music and fashion. 

She recently signed a deal with the distribution platform Create Music Group and released a new pop single called Girlfriend. 

'What's up, everybody? I just wanted to let you all know that Girlfriend is out now on Spotify and all the streaming platforms,' she announced back in April. 

'Please listen. Thank you so much, I really appreciate it. I'm so glad you're all loving it. The response has been super positive so far.'

Bynes has also launched her own handbag line called New York Speed. 

The bags are currently on sale for $218 a piece, which some fans have said is far too expensive.

Outside of business, Bynes is dating event planner Zachary Khan.

 They began dating in September 2025, and her 'level-headed' partner has been credited with keeping the troubled child star calm and collected.

Sources previously told the Daily Mail that Khan has brought Bynes 'some stability' after she ended her engagement to Paul Michael for the second time in July 2022.
