Kim Zolciak recently met up with her estranged husband Kroy Biermann to sort out their temporary child custody agreement.

This comes amid the 47-year-old reality TV star's years-long, contentious divorce battle with the former football player, 40, after nearly 11 years of marriage.

The estranged couple sat down for a mediation session last Tuesday, January 27, according to TMZ

The temporary arrangement has not yet been revealed, but the outlet confirmed the former couple both agreed and signed a legal document.

This comes after Zolciak debuted her first major relationship since their separation and revealed the 'final straw' that ended her marriage to Biermann.

The couple have been separated since 2023 and have been in a lengthy divorce battle ever since August of that year.

Biermann filed for divorce initially in May 2023 with Zolciak doing the same shortly thereafter.

The following July, they briefly reconciled before Biermann filed for divorce again in August that year and again in early 2025.

Zolciak and Biermann have been entangled in an ongoing and contentious custody battle over their four minor children — Kroy Jr., Kash and twins Kaia and Kane.

The couple also share adult daughters Ariana and Brielle. Their biological father is Zolciak's ex Daniel Toce, but Biermann later adopted them.

Both Zolciak and Biermann are seeking sole physical custody and have accused each other of unfit parenting.

Prior to their temporary arrangement, the last update was in August 2025 when Biermann demanded sole custody.

At the time, he made serious accusations against the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum.

In August of last year, Biermann first filed for sole physical custody of their four children.

He accused his estranged wife of neglect as well as 'emotional and psychological abuse' and petitioned the court to have sole custody due to the 'noteworthy absence of structure and accountability' in his ex's home.

Previously, they were on a split-custody arrangement with each parent having two children at all times with a week-by-week exchange — which they agreed to after they were forced to move out of their foreclosed Georgia mansion in April 2025.

In June last year, Zolciak also publicly accused Biermann of 'not providing' for their kids during an appearance on Kristin Cavallari's Let's Be Honest podcast tour.

She was also seeking sole custody of their four minor children.

While speaking with the fellow reality star, Zolciak claimed Biermann was financially unfit to provide for their children and had not paid their bills 'in years.'

'I've worked my a** off to provide for my family and my children,' Zolciak alleged.

'This man has not paid a bill in this house in years. Even with a job, he hasn't paid a bill in this house in years. Not clothes for my children, not extracurricular [activities], nothing.'
