Kim Kardashian's ex Kanye West is 'crazy JEALOUS' of her romance with his old pal Lewis Hamilton

Kim Kardashian's ex-husband Kanye West is not too comfortable with her new romance with one of his longtime friends.

The 45-year-old SKIMS founder has been dating Formula One race car driver Lewis Hamilton, who both Kardashian and West have known for over 10 years.

'Ye is jealous, yup, it feels weird for him,' a source told Daily Mail. 'It is always strange for him to see his ex-wife out with another man. It felt weird with Pete Davidson and now it feels weird with Lewis Hamilton.'

It did not help that Hamilton was spotted cozying up to the reality TV star at such a public event: Sunday's Super Bowl at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

Also this week it became obvious that the 41-year-old British star is already close to her family.

His voice was heard when Kim was filming a video with sisters Khloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner in a fresh Instagram post.

'That used to be Ye's family, now Lewis is there, it's hard to see,' said the source even though West, 48, moved on many years ago when he wed Bianca Censori, 31, in December 2022.

Still, the insider noted that West is doing fine with Censori as their marriage is 'stable.' And the source also noted that he is on good terms with Kardashian and his four children he had with her. 

Kardashian even said on Khloe's recent podcast Khloe In Wonder Land that she is doing better with West and they are on friendly terms. 

Daily Mail has reached out to a representative for West for comment but did not immediately hear back.

Kardashian and Lewis have been friends for many years, and were pictured with their partners at the time, West and Nicole Scherzinger, in 2014 at the GQ Men of the Year Awards in London.

In 2015, Kim's ex-husband West invited Lewis to spend Easter with their family, with the rapper saying at the time: 'Lewis Hamilton's over at my house and we're playing some music in my studio.'

'We're having an Easter brunch and all of the family's there, my wife's family, my friends, everything. And everybody's like, "What is this music?" And I'm like, "It's Lewis Hamilton's music."

'They're like, "Oh my God. It's really good."'

Lewis later joined Kim and her family in the VIP section when West headlined Glastonbury that year.

A year after the show, Lewis opened up about his connection with Kanye as he told CityAM: 'I went to see Kanye at his house and he goes, "You know, me and you are very much the same".

West and Kardashian went on to announce their split in 2021 and divorced the following year. The TV personality has North, 12, Saint, nine, Chicago, seven, and Psalm, six, with her ex-husband. 

Lewis has also been close friends with Kim's sister, Kendall Jenner, for years, while her mother, Kris Jenner, has been seen cheering him on at the Monaco Grand Prix.

Kardashian and Hamilton were also seen at the 2021 Wall Street Journal's innovator awards, gushing: 'It's such an honour to be recognized amongst a group of such remarkable talent.'

He shared a photograph of himself and Kim backstage at the awards on Instagram and wrote: 'How Kim Kardashian and Kim Jones have come together on Skims, the way Lil Nas X is transforming the music industry, and artist Maya Lin’s groundbreaking approach to her art.'

Kim and Lewis were last seen together after Kate Hudson's New Year's Eve party in Aspen last month.

Lewis has had his fair share of celeb romances, most famously an on-off relationship with Pussycat Dolls star Scherzinger from 2007 until their final split in 2015. More recently, he was linked to model Ashley Moore in September 2025 and British singer Raye last summer. 

The billionaire SKIMS founder flew into the UK last week for a romantic weekend away with Lewis.

They enjoyed an intimate dinner and a couple's massage as part of a romantic weekend getaway to the A-list favorite spot in the Cotswolds.
