Kid Cudi has cut ties with M.I.A., who will no longer be a part of his Rebel Ragers Tour.

The change comes after the British singer made some remarks that upset Kid Cudi’s fans.

“M.I.A. is no longer on this tour. I told my management to send a notice to her team before we started tour that I didn’t want anything offensive at my shows, cuz I already knew what time it was, and I was assured things were understood,” read the statement shared on Instagram Stories.

The statement continued, “After the last couple shows, I’ve been flooded with messages from fans that were upset by her rants. This, to me, is very disappointing and I wont have someone on my tour making offensive remarks that upsets my fans. Thank you for understanding.”

Over the weekend, the Rebel Ragers Tour made a stop in Dallas at the Dos Equis Pavilion. During her set, M.I.A. ranted about being “canceled for being a brown Republican voter,” and then added, “I can’t do ‘illegal,’ though some of you could be in the audience.”

On his Instagram Stories statement, Kid Cudi also confirmed that he was canceling a show in Birmingham, Alabama due to low ticket sales.

“I wanted to go to Alabama becuz its one of the many places in the US where I haven’t ever performed,” read the statement. “I wanted to give yall a special experiece, but the ticket sales just werent strong enough. I hope yall understand.”
