Katy Perry took to the stage last week to perform a selection of her most iconic hits in front of a celebrity-filled audience for her new ITV concert special which will air on Saturday at 6.30pm.

But the best part of the evening for the global pop superstar, 40, was when she had the pleasure of meeting Gemma Collins, 43, for the first time and revealed to the TOWIE star how she plans to spend her Christmas.

During the event, Katy took part in a Christmas Q&A with the audience and Gemma confidently stood up with a large Christmas cracker for Katy saying: 'Hi Katy, I've got a question for you.'

Katy appeared shocked to see Gemma in the audience and said 'Oh my god, you are the hun of all huns'.

She then leaned down towards Gemma on stage adding: 'You are my icon. I use you to interpret my feelings through the memes that you bless us with.'

The crowd cheered as Gemma shockingly said: 'Really you've seen them?' and Katie confessed: 'I've seen them babes you're my icon!'

Gemma proceeded to hand Katy one end of the large red Christmas cracker, which included her question inside, encouraging her to pull it.

She then cheekily smiled as she said to Katy: 'Is there a Christmas hat in there? You know it's tradition, but don't worry, you are Katy Perry you haven't gotta wear it.'

Katy proceeded to pull out a metallic silver Christmas hat and jokingly said to Gemma in an Essex accent: 'Here it is babes' Gemma chimed: 'Hunny that is so on trend that colour.'

Once Katy put the hat on, Gemma asked her: 'My question to you is, and I am desperate to know, like everyone in this room I love Christmas so much, but what is going down in the Perry Bloom household hunny this Chrimbo?'

The crowd cheered as the camera panned to Katy's fiancé Orlando Bloom, 47, who could be seen beaming from ear to ear.

Katy went on to reveal the couple's Christmas plans with their daughter Daisy, four, which will involve the singer dressing up to disguise herself from her neighbours.

Katy revealed to the audience: 'So, we're gonna be home. And when we come home we're going to do something that we do every year, which is we rent a trolley and we dress up.'

'There's lights on the trolley and we go to all the neighbourhoods in my hometown. And we see all of their lights, and sometimes (there's) hot cocoa and it's gonna be super fun.'

She continued: 'Then we also go carolling. So, we're gonna go knock on other people's houses, they won't know it's me, and we're just gonna do some carols, any requests?'

Gemma admitted the previous song she performed would be perfect for the carols, by adding: 'I think that last song just says it all hunny, people are gonna love it.'

Katy praised the reality TV star for her 'great idea' before she waved her off wishing her a merry Christmas.

Elsewhere during the show, which was attended by a whole host of famous faces, Katy joked about a sex act with fiancé Orlando.

The pop star, who's been with the actor for eight years, revealed earlier this year the playful X-rated way she rewards him for completing household chores.

Speaking on Call Her Daddy podcast, Katy said: 'If I come downstairs and the kitchen is clean, and you've done it all, and you've done all the dishes, and you've closed all the pantry doors, you better be ready to get your d*** sucked.'

'I mean like literally. That is my love language. I don't need a red Ferrari! I can buy a red Ferrari. Just do the f*****g dishes. I will suck your d***! It's that easy.'

She quipped: 'He does the dishes, he gives me water'.

Later in the show, a fan asked, what Orlando would say is her most annoying habit, to which she replied: 'Maybe being on time which is constantly my New Year resolution.'

'But I think it might be that I don't do the dishes, but it's better for him now that I don't do the dishes.'

The guest confirmed, 'That was his answer that you don't touch the dishes.'

Katy cheekily added: 'I don't like getting my hands dirty, Orlando does the dishes.'

The songstress and Orlando got engaged in 2019, and the following year they welcomed their daughter. Orlando also shares son Flynn, 13, with his ex-wife, model Miranda Kerr.
