Katie Holmes, 47, goes makeup-free for red carpet appearance with toyboy Jason Bard Yarmosky, 39, in NYC

Katie Holmes went makeup-free while hitting the red carpet with her new boyfriend Jason Bard Yarmosky on Friday night.

Holmes, 47, and Yarmosky, 39, were among the stars at this year's New York Film Festival, which is being held at Lincoln Center in New York City.

The couple, who began dating over the summer, attended the premiere of Holmes's longtime pal Ava DuVernay's documentary, 14th, at Alice Tully Hall.

Holmes looked absolutely radiant beside Yarmosky as she flaunted her flawless, wrinkle-free complexion and shoulder-length brunette hair.

She kept her look casual for the evening by pairing slouchy taupe slacks and a suede jacket with a silky dress shirt and red leather purse.

As for Holmes's boyfriend, he attended the premiere in black leather jacket, black trousers and leather shoes that matched his actress girlfriend's loafers.

Since going public with their romance in June, the couple have enjoyed two getaways to Lake Como and they also attended both New York Fashion Week and Milan Fashion Week. 

Despite being notoriously private about her romantic life, Holmes has been offering frequent glimpses at her day-to-day with Yarmosky on Instagram.

Earlier this month, the ex-wife of Tom Cruise shared snaps from her and Yarmosky's most recent trip to Italy.

The slideshow included steamy photos of the two kissing, as well as images of the stunning landscapes.

Yarmosky emphasized their connection by also sharing the photos on his account. 

Holmes was first linked to Yarmosky in June, and they fueled the romance speculation the following month by arriving hand-in-hand at a screening of Olivia Wilde's acclaimed sex comedy The Invite. 

An audience member at the premiere told People: 'He was whispering in her ear, and she was laughing. They seemed very easy together, and there was a smile on her face all night. 

'They sat together during the movie; she had her head on his shoulder at one point,' the eyewitness continued. 'They looked very cute.' 

Yarmosky is a visual artist whose paintings have been hung at the Brooklyn Museum of Art, the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and other major institutions, while also gracing the windows of Bergdorf Goodman's on Fifth Avenue. 

Much of his art has been family-focused, with his grandparents serving as regular subjects of his paintings. 

'The art that speaks to me the most is personal,' Yarmosky said during a 2016 appearance at the School of Visual Arts in New York. 

'For me, it's not about conventional beauty. In our society, we don't celebrate getting older. We celebrate youth, but it's inevitable that we all age. So why can't we celebrate the full life cycle?' 

'With my work, I’m able to explore questions of memory and time to reveal the tension between the physical and psychological transformations that my grandparents are going through,' he continued. 

This is Holmes's first public relationship since she dated the bass player Bobby Wooten III in 2022. They were ultimately together for less than a year. 

Prior to that, the Logan Lucky actress dated Jamie Foxx for six years following the end of her marriage to Tom Cruise, with whom she shares 20-year-old daughter Suri.
