Justin Baldoni’s 2AM Voice Memo to Blake Lively Revealed
Justin Baldoni commented on Blake Lively's breastfeeding during the making of It Ends With Us, according to a leaked voice memo.
In an audio message the actor allegedly sent to his costar while working on the 2024 Colleen Hoover adaptation, he apologized for leaving a lengthy message in the middle of the night and referenced Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds' four kids: James, 10, Inez, 8, Betty, 5, and Olin, now almost 2.
"I'm gonna stop rambling because—Jesus Christ—it's been six minutes and 30 seconds," Baldoni said with a laugh at the end of his recording, published by TMZ Jan. 27. "I'm sorry. You probably have kids all over you and a baby on your boob, and you're listening to me ramble at two in the morning."
In the audio note, the 41-year-old also seemingly apologized to Lively, 37, for his lukewarm reception to her take on their movie's rooftop scene, which he said in his Jan. 16 lawsuit that the Gossip Girl alum completely rewrote after he agreed to let her pitch some changes.
"I'm really sorry," Baldoni told Lively in the voice memo, saying that he "fell short and you worked really hard on that."
He continued, "I f--ked up. One thing you should know about me is that I will admit and apologize when I fail. I am far from perfect and I'm a very flawed man, as my wife will attest."
E! News has reached out to Baldoni and Lively's reps for comment on the voice memo but hasn't heard back.

Baldoni, who is married to actress Emily Baldoni, has been embroiled in a legal battle with Lively after she accused him of sexual harassment throughout production of It Ends With Us.
In a lawsuit filed in late December, Lively alleged the director created a hostile work environment on set, including "invading her privacy by entering her makeup trailer uninvited while she was undressed" and breastfeeding her son Olin. When she requested "protections" from Baldoni amid filming, Lively alleged that he launched a smear campaign against her "in retaliation."
"These actions severely impacted Ms. Lively's physical, psychological, and emotional well-being," her complaint against Baldoni read, "and so altered the terms and conditions of Ms. Lively's employment such that it was more difficult for Ms. Lively to perform her job."

In response, Baldoni filed a countersuit denying the sexual harassment allegations, saying that Lively "freely breast-fed in front of him during meetings." In addition, he accused Lively and her husband Reynolds of colluding with publicity reps to defame him in the press.
"Though Lively claimed Baldoni was the one smearing her," his filing read, "the reality is that it was Lively and her team who carefully planned and implemented a vile smear campaign against Baldoni."
