This month Sony is adding a recent Sonic game, Jurassic World Evolution 2, the divisive Forspoken, and a Star Wars VR experience to its large PlayStation Plus Game Catalog. All these games arrive just in time for being stuck indoors due to snow and family gatherings.
The Best Reveals From The Game Awards 2023
On December 11, PlayStation officially announced the next round of PS Plus Extra and Premium games that will be added to the service’s game catalog. These new games will be available starting on December 17.
Sony previously revealed in November that some PS2 classics, including Sly 2 and Sly 3, would be added to PS Plus this month, and we’ve included those titles (as well as the free monthly games) in this list.
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is headed to theaters this Christmas, so it’s only fitting that one of his latest games, 2022's Sonic Frontiers, is arriving on PS Plus this month. Frontiers is nothing like the new movies or classic 2D games from the franchise’s past. Instead, it’s a lonely mess of a game that looks and feels a lot like Death Stranding. It’s an odd one for sure, but strangely compelling, too.
Anyway, here’s the full list of games being added to PS Plus and its various tiers next week:
