Josie Gibson showed off her surgically reduced arms and flaunted her 2.5st weight loss in a tight black jumpsuit in an Instagram snap on Wednesday.

The former Big Brother star, 41, looked happy and glowing as she displayed her incredible transformation.

Josie has also spent £7,000 on liposuction on her arms after being diagnosed with lipoedema, and called the procedure the 'best thing she ever did'.

The star admitted it was 'heartbreaking' to learn she had the condition after 'hating the way she looked' for many years.

She recently hit back at claims she used weight loss jabs, insisting much of the weight loss comes from her busy schedule as a working mother.

Josie claimed she'd heard users had started 'using their hair,' after research published by the University of Health System claimed an increased risk of alopecia was linked to the jabs.

She said: 'The amount of people that have gone: ''Fat jabs, fat jabs, fat jabs!'' I'm like: ''How about single mum running around the country, trying to hold down a career and sort a house build, while trying to do everything else as well, including the cleaning – how about that?''

'If somebody gave me a miracle thing and said: ''Here you go, you're going to be skinny,'' and there were no side effects, that would be amazing. But people are losing their frickin' hair, and what happens to your digestive system?'

Reflecting on her lipoedema diagnosis, Josie told The Sun's Fabulous Magazine: 'It was a light-bulb moment. I was told: ''You can't out-train lipoedema.'' It was heartbreaking, but it all made sense.'

Lipoedema is a medical condition causing abnormal, symmetrical buildup of adipose tissue (fat), which typically manifests in the legs, buttocks, hips and arms.

Josie revealed in March she had 45 per cent of her arm removed in a brachioplasty, which is a surgical procedure that removes excess skin and fat from the upper arm.

Just weeks after her surgery, she showed off the scars from her surgery, which were not noticeable in her latest post.

Josie had previously shared that despite working out, she struggled to shift the 'lumps and excess weight' in her body.

The star said she felt 'held back' by her condition, but has since thrown herself into working out, as well as a focus on wellness.

She said: 'I have just bought a treadmill so I try to get my steps in on there, and sometimes I put some circuits together at home.

'I take collagen supplements and electrolytes. I've also been getting lymphatic draining and have been understanding how the lymphatic system works.'

According to the NHS, lipoedema is a long-term (chronic) condition of fat and connective tissue which builds up in your legs, hips, bottom and sometimes arms. It affects both sides of the body equally.

The condition is more common in women and only very rarely affects men. However, it's not the same as obesity. For some people, it can have a big impact on daily routine, physical health and emotional wellbeing.
