Josie Gibson has said that she's 'struggling and stressed' juggling being a working single mother.

The TV presenter, 41, shares on Reggie, seven, with her ex and has joked that 'mums shouldn't look up to her' as a role model as she finds things tough sometimes.

Josie also said she isn't looking for a full-time position on This Morning - where she does guest segments and hosting - as she want to focus on being a parent.

She told Ok! Magazine: 'Mums don't look up to me. I'm juggling, I'm struggling, I'm stressed.

'I am just like any other mum out there. It's all a juggle and it's all a learning curve and I am just trying to hold it together.'

She added of her reasons for staying part time with This Morning: 'I only get to be a mum once and you never get that time back.

'I need to be down this neck of the woods. I love the West Country. That's where I'm from. That's where I feel myself and that's where I feel like I can grow.'

Josie has baffled neighbours about why she has stayed put, despite her lucrative TV career.

The star moved into a caravan with her son Reggie last year while extensive renovations are done on her home.

Insiders say Josie, who found fame on Big Brother, is happy to shun fame and 'happily live in a caravan forever' but would love to have a partner.

It comes as fans' hopes Josie had found love after the world's hottest farrier' was spotted cosying up to her at Cheltenham earlier this month were dashed, as it was revealed he is engaged.

A source told The Sun: 'Josie will sing it from the rooftops: she wants to settle down with a nice man and give her son a stable family life.

'You can tell from the way she talks she's been burned in the past, but she's still optimistic, she is someone who loves being in love and often gives relationship advice to those going through it.'

They added Josie 'doesn't need mansion or expensive things' to be happy, but is still working towards finding a man she can 'truly rely on'.

The Daily Mail has contacted Josie's representatives for comment.

Earlier this month, Josie set tongues wagging when she was pictured alongside social media star Sam Wolfenden while presenting This Morning at the races together.

Fans had hoped this could be a new romance for the Big Brother star, however it's now been reported that Sam is very much taken, and is in fact engaged to his childhood sweetheart Grace Richardson.

It's thought that the couple, who met at school and got engaged in 2019, share a daughter together.

Sources claimed Samuel has kept his relationship secret from his social media following to boost his profile as a hunky farrier.

Meanwhile, Josie is documenting the renovation of her home on her show Josie Gibson's Big Country Build.

Josie shot to fame in 2010 when she won the 11th series of the Channel 4 series of Big Brother.

The star became a huge hit with fans and has gone on to have a very successful television career.

She joined the This Morning team in 2019 and regularly steps in for the main presenters when they are away.

Josie also presents segments and competitions.

The host has starred in various other TV shows over the years.

Josie has appeared on 8 Out of 10 Cats, Loose Women, The Jump, Cooking with the Stars, I'm A Celebrity and The Masked Singer UK.
