Karlie Kloss' husband Joshua Kushner brushed off his failed attempt to buy a stake in the World Cup, by heading to the beach with his family on Monday.
Kushner was part of a group of investors that were hoping to create a new enterprise after being offered a share in FIFA tournaments.
The plan sparked huge backlash, and led many international bodies such as UEFA, CONCACAF, the AFC to threaten to boycott upcoming tournaments, with FIFA President Gianni Infantino forced to make a humiliating U-turn.
While the plans have left Infantino's job hanging in the balance, Joshua opted to make the most of the California summer with a trip to the beach.
The businessman was seen soaking up the sunshine with his model wife, their sons Levi, four, Elijah, two and their baby daughter Rae, 10 months.

It was hoped that he would bring significant investment into the FIFA project, while investment bank J.P. Morgan were advising on potential investors.
A significant number of FIFA members raised concerns from the initial leak of the plan, questioning how such thorough ideas could be developed unilaterally without prior consultation.
Despite FIFA maintaining throughout that there would be a proper consultation period, there were major questions about how that could be achieved when potential investors were already lined up.
UEFA accused FIFA of trying to bribe members with a £30million ($40m) incentive to approve Infantino's plan, with a September 19 deadline to respond to the offer.
Those plans, though, are now dead in the water after Infantino scrapped them.
Despite calls for him to resign, Infantino has vowed to keep his position as the highest governing figure in world football, with FIFA even releasing a statement criticising a 'concerted and ongoing effort' to 'undermine' both the organisation and Infantino.
UEFA, and the football federations of Asia and North and Central America, have since hit back, accusing FIFA of deception.
Their statement said that Infantino had broken trust 'through deception' with the now abandoned proposal, had 'placed himself above the collective' and the three confederations called for a fully independent review of what had happened.
Mexico's football federation broke ranks with CONCACAF to come out in support of Infantino, with Argentina, Qatar, Paraguay, Morocco and Egypt among those in favour of him remaining as FIFA president.

Infantino has also faced allegations this week that UEFA made a 'departure payment' to a female employee with whom he is alleged to have been in a relationship while general secretary of European football's governing body.
UEFA have confirmed a payment was made, but FIFA labelled the allegation as 'categorically untrue'.
The next FIFA presidential elections take place next March.
