Jodie Sweetin has shared a shocking anecdote about a time the late Bob Saget, who played her TV dad on the beloved sitcom Full House, saved her from a potentially deadly drive-by shooting.
On Sunday, the 44-year-old actress was part of a cast reunion at 90s Con, where she was joined by former costars Candace Cameron Bure, John Stamos, Lori Loughlin, Dave Coulier, Scott Weinger and Andrea Barber.
During a panel discussion, she recounted a time when Saget, who died in 2022 at age 65, saved her from a shooting.
'I remember a Janet Jackson concert with Bob. We were parked outside of Edge of Epics going to that Janet Jackson concert. And I walked back out to the car… and we were sitting in the car and the window exploded. We were like, "Oh!" she shared, according to People.
Sweetin added that they ran from the vehicle and 'then we had to wait for two station wagon taxis – because this [was] pre-Uber – to come and get us and we were late.'
She continued, 'And then Bob had to drive me home and explain to my mom what happened. So between that and the Laugh Factory, Bob was not always my mom’s favorite.'

She told the audience that the shooter 'shot the window out of the car.'
Remembering the experience, she said, 'It was a drive-by. It was back in the late ‘80s, early ‘90s. I leaned over to tie my shoes, and it’s just like "pop pop pop" and the whole thing shattered.'
The LA-born star is best known for appearing as Stephanie Tanner in the ABC series Full House from 1987 to 1995, and its Netflix reboot, Fuller House.
She was just five years old when she was cast as the younger sister to the aforementioned Bure's character DJ Tanner.
Saget was found dead in his hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes, on January 9, 2022.
A funeral was held for the comedian on January 14, and many of his former costars and friends attended.
The performer was subsequently laid to rest at the Mount Sinai Memorial Park Cemetery in Los Angeles.
An autopsy determined that Saget suffered blunt force trauma after slipping and hitting his head in his hotel room.

How do you think childhood fame affects stars like Jodie Sweetin later in life?
Sweetin has been candid about battling drug addiction after the show went off the air.
'I always say, I would have struggled with addiction issues regardless of being on TV or not,' she said last year while appearing on Kailyn Lowry's podcast Barely Famous.
'And to be fair, that gave me some of the ability to be able to find treatment and find help in ways that I might not have had I not worked as a child. But it's very hard [when] you have to make all your mistakes publicly,' she lamented.
Sweetin married fourth husband Mescal Wasilewski in 2022.
She was previously married to LAPD officer Shaun Holguin from 2002 to 2006, film transportation coordinator Cody Herpin from 2007 to 2010, and DJ Morty Coyle from 2012 to 2016.
The actress is mom to daughters Zoie, 18, whom she shares with Herpin and Beatrix, 16, whom she shares with Coyle.
The actress pointed out that after being wed so many times, she's become accustomed to enjoying her own space.
