Jennifer Lopez flashes the flesh in skimpy workout gear before reuniting with child Oskar, 18

Jennifer Lopez showed off her incredible physique while heading to a workout at a gym in Santa Monica on Monday. 

The superstar, 57, put her toned midriff on display in a low-cut burgundy sports bra and matching leggings. 

She paired the outfit with a plum-toned Yankees baseball hat and chunky white sneakers. 

The Jenny from the Block hitmaker - whose friends reportedly fear she is headed for 'burnout' with her huge workload - wore her caramel-hued hair down in a sleek, straight style.

The star seemingly flew to New York City later in the day as she was spotted grabbing lunch with her child Oskar and friends at Dante restaurant in Manhattan's West Village neighborhood on Tuesday.

She embraced fall fashion by layering a baby blue sweatshirt over a white collared shirt for the outing. Lopez completed the look with wide-leg blue jeans and a Bottega Veneta leather pouch clutch handbag that retails for over $4,000.

She added height to the stylish look with black peep-toe heels and a pair of black sunglasses. 

Meanwhile Oskar sported a similar sweater but in a cream color. The teen paired the outfit with classic blue jeans and olive sneakers.

Oskar, who was born Emme, recently unveiled a new trans identity while preparing to head off to college. 

It's believed Oskar will attend Sarah Lawrence College, an elite liberal arts school outside of New York City, in the fall. 

Earlier this month Lopez shared a sentimental Instagram post from her family vacation as she prepared to become an empty nester.

The pop icon highlighted her 'road trip' around Italy with her 18-year-old twins Max and Oskar, spending quality time together before they move out of home.

'Road tripping with my coconuts before they head off to college,' the proud mom wrote in her caption alongside a crying emoji.

In her post, Lopez included selfies with her two kids, both of whom she shares with her ex-husband Marc Anthony, who did not appear to join them for the holiday.

It appears Oskar and Max are both brainy, with Lopez recently reporting that they each got into all of the colleges they applied to.

'I am so proud that they set goals for themselves,' began the Bronx-born beauty in an interview with Extra.

'They all got into all five colleges that they applied to. They both got a scholarship to each, you know, one scholarship to each. Each one got a scholarship to a school. And I just felt like they work so hard.'

She then shared that they hustled to get good grades. 'I watched how hard they worked, from the time they were like... when school gets serious in the fifth grade, and they just worked hard,' she continued.

'They have ADHD, and so they need to learn differently, and there were struggles and times, and I'm just so proud of them because they did what they said they were going to do, and they're good people.'

Lopez added her kids are 'loving, good-hearted people.'

The ex-wife of Ben Affleck added, 'And they always said that. I always say to them, "What do I say?" And they say, "Doesn't matter if we get good grades so long as we're good people."'

'And I was like, "That's right." And they still sometimes will quote that back to me. So I'm very proud of both of them.'

It comes amid fears that Lopez is headed for 'burnout' with her huge workload.

The On The Floor hitmaker has scooped an eye-popping $20million deal with Dolce & Gabbana, while juggling planning a world tour, acting and promoting her movies. 

Friends are said to be concerned that her workload is giving echoes of the nervous breakdown she suffered in 2002 and are desperate to avoid history repeating itself.

Insiders told The Daily Mail: 'She is working her tail off because she wants to stay busy, though there is some concern she may burn out.' 

Lopez's workload comes after her painful divorce from Ben Affleck last year as well as her twins Max and Oskar heading off to college.
