Jennifer Garner shares snowy snaps from ski getaway

Jennifer Garner shared some images from her snowy getaway to a ski town.

In the caption, she posted a fun little poem about how much she loves snow and tagged American poet Mary Oliver. 

'I love Snow. My best friend Snow. More Snow. A poem I love by @maryoliver filmed in Snow. Trees & Snow. After a week of looking at snow,' she wrote, describing each image and video in her post.

The first snap was a close up selfie of half of the Alias star's, 52, face with her ski goggles pulled up on top of her head.

The next two photos were of snowy mountain landscapes, presumably taken while the 13 Going on 30 actress was skiing down the slopes.

In the fourth slide, she shared a video of herself reciting the poem I Have Decided while wearing a marled grey turtleneck sweater.

'I have decided to find myself a home in the mountains, somewhere high up where one learns to live peacefully in the cold and the silence,' the poem began.

'It’s said that in such a place certain revelations may be discovered. That what the spirit reaches for may be eventually felt, if not exactly understood. 

'Slowly, no doubt. I’m not talking about a vacation. Of course, at the same time I mean to stay exactly where I am. Are you following me?'

The fifth slide is another snowy mountain shot and the final slide is a short video of a polar bear slowly sliding down a snow packed slope on its belly which Jennifer credited to Nat Geo photographer Paul Nicklen. 

Last month, Garner sparked rumors she's engaged to businessman John Miller after she was seen wearing a sparkling diamond ring on her left hand's fourth finger, accompanied by another slender gold band.

The Electra actress has been has been quietly dating Miller since 2018, reportedly splitting from him in 2020 only to reunite in 2021.   

In October, Jennifer was spotted wearing a gold band on her engagement finger, eliciting speculation that wedding bells were in her future.

Just before Christmas she poured fuel on the fire, wearing a diamond bauble that dazzled in the sunlight as she drove her car during a solo outing.

Before her relationship with John, she was married to Ben Affleck, with whom she shares her children Violet, 19, Fin, 15, and Samuel, 12.

Jennifer and Ben tied the knot in 2005 and separated in 2015 but have retained a famously amicable co-parenting relationship and friendship since their split.

Meanwhile, a source claimed in October that Jennifer and John are planning a in Paris in the spring, where she allegedly went shopping for a bridal gown.

'Jen and John have taken a lot more trips to Europe than people realize. Paris is one of their favorite escapes and they’ve decided getting married there this coming spring is something they want to do,' the insider dished.

The source also noted that a large ceremony in the French capital would be a marked contrast to when Jennifer and Ben eloped to Turks And Caicos in 2005.

'This time around she wants a big wedding in a dream location and John is all for it. He loves the idea of giving her something that Ben never did, so he’s totally encouraging her to go all out. He’s got plenty of money and wants to totally spoil her,' the insider shared with In Touch Weekly.

At the beginning of this month, another insider said Jennifer was 'very happy with' John and 'spends a lot of time with him,' seeing him 'almost every day.'

The source explained that Jennifer and Ben spent the day of Thanksgiving volunteering with their children, and then John spent the night at her house.

'Jen truly just wants her kids to be happy. She will continue to make sure that they spend time together as a family and include Ben,' the source informed People.

Jennifer is said to have been a source of support for Ben amid the implosion of his marriage to his latest wife, pop superstar Jennifer Lopez.

JLo filed for divorce in August on her and Ben's second wedding anniversary, after months of rumors that their relationship was on the brink of collapse.

An insider has said Ben regarded himself as 'blessed' to spend the holidays with Garner, with whom he feels he 'can just be himself,' via Page Six.

'Even though Ben and Jen have been split for a while now, he feels a certain level of comfort with her,' the source explained.

'Ben has a strong relationship with Jen that will never dissipate because they have a lot of history together and she’s the mother of his kids.'
