Apple TV is the home to some truly incredible originals that span genres and bring Hollywood’s biggest stars to televisions around the globe. This year, the network will be releasing a handful of new and intriguing projects, including a series remake of Cape Fear, the thrilling adaptation of Araminta Hall’s beloved novel, Imperfect Women, and the Anya Taylor-Joy-led Lucky, which will follow the titular con-woman from Marissa Stapley’s novel of the same name and throw her into a pulse-pounding adventure. Additionally, Apple TV is welcoming back some productions that have already proven to be sure-fire hits. Among the lineup is The Last Thing He Told Me, which recently returned for its sophomore season.

Starring Jennifer Garner (Alias), Angourie Rice (Mare of Easttown), and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Game of Thrones), the series is yet another example of the network’s popular titles that serve as an adaptation of a beloved novel. This time around, Laura Dave and Josh Singer developed the thriller from the former’s 2021 New York Times Bestseller, with Reese Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter producing under their Hello Sunshine banner.

Today, we at Collider are thrilled to unveil a sneak peek at the upcoming second episode of Season 2, which will arrive on the platform this Friday, February 27. Garner’s Hannah is going into full-on mother bear mode in our exclusive first look at this week’s installment of The Last Thing He Told Me. With her stepdaughter Bailey (Rice) by her side, Hannah approaches Quinn (Judy Greer) in hopes of gaining some intel about the man who broke into her home and attempted to kidnap her the night prior. Hopeful that Quinn will pass a message along to her father, Bailey and Hannah plead with her to tell him that they have nothing to do with Owen (Coster-Waldau) and that they plan on keeping it that way. Agreeing to run their message up the chain, Quinn leaves the pair with a word of advice — let go of Owen and move on for good.

Who Else Joins the Cast of ‘The Last Thing He Told Me’s Second Season?

Greer is just one of the newcomers signing on for the follow-up season of Apple TV’s gripping thriller, with Sleepless in Seattle and Now and Then alum Rita Wilson also joining the call sheet. Additionally, audiences can expect to see an ensemble that includes Augusto Aguilera (I Love LA), Josh Hamilton (Eighth Grade), Michael Galante (Boy Meets Girl), Nick Hargrove (American Primeval), Luke Kirby (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), John Noble (The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It), and Michael Hyatt (Where the Crawdads Sing).
