Statham-mania has officially spread to a free streamer. Next to The Beatles, Jason Statham has been the greatest import that the UK has given those of us in the U.S. — just look at the box office numbers. With a new project now playing in cinemas, the Expendables alum is back to making the big bucks by raking in audiences with his action hero ways in Ric Roman Waugh’s Shelter. However, if you’re not willing to step out into the chilly temps and freeze on the way to your local theater, there are still plenty of ways to watch Statham at home. Just ask folks across the U.S. who have flocked to the free streamer, Tubi, to make his 2008 film, Transporter 3, the fifth most viewed movie on its top 10 chart.

What started in 2002 with the Louis Leterrier and Corey Yuen co-helmed film, The Transporter, quickly blossomed into a franchise that helped carry Statham’s career to new heights. Although the third and final installment is the only one currently available on Tubi, eager viewers can still easily pick up the plot and be incredibly entertained by the high-octane flick. In Transporter 3, Statham reprises his role as Frank Martin, the titular businessman known for being the best in his industry. With a new job at hand, Frank finds himself entrusted with carrying a kidnapped woman to safety all while evading numerous incredibly dangerous and death-defying situations.

By the time Transporter 3 went into production, both Leterrier and Yuen had departed as the franchise’s helmers, with Olivier Megaton taking over the directorial reins. Against its $40 million production budget, the movie amassed $112.9 million at the global box office, making it a financial success. Although it may have made cash during its cinematic run, the movie received the least favorable reviews of the original trilogy, landing a 40% critics’ approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

What’s Next for Jason Statham?

This week, Statham welcomed his latest project, Shelter, into cinemas. The movie is already off to a solid start with critics and is expected to make waves at the box office. Next, he’ll pair with Jean-François Richet for the action thriller, Mutiny, which is slated for an arrival in the U.S. on August 21. Beyond that, 2027 will bring audiences the return of one of Statham’s other beloved franchises, when Timo Tjahjanto’s The Beekeeper 2 buzzes into cinemas on January 15, 2027.

Head over to Tubi to stream Transporter 3.
