It's been a while since we have had an excellent James Bond game, and there are a lot of hopes from franchise fans that IO Interactive's 007: First Light really could be one of the best there has ever been. The two-month delay to the game's release date has done little to dampen those hopes, and with April drawing to a close, we are about to head into release month for the first time.
As first reported by GAMINGbible, players can get themselves a free outfit for First Light by playing through IO Interactive's big IP release, HITMAN World of Assassination. In case you weren't aware, that game is celebrating the upcoming release of the new bond game by adding legendary villain Le Chiffre as a target for players to go after.
Le Chiffre, played by legendary Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen, served as the overarching antagonist in arguably the best Bond film of the modern era, Casino Royale. You can go after him entirely for free between April 27–May 25, with First Light dropping two days later on May 27.
If you do manage to get him killed off, then you can nab the Casino Suit as a wearable outfit in the new game. It's essentially a copy of the black tuxedo that Le Chiffre wears during the legendary game of cards that almost during the legendary card game that almost kills off 007 himself.
That isn't the only reward that you can grab for your troubles either, with HITMAN World of Assassination currently celebrating the Season of the Royal Ace, as part of establishing as many connections as possible with the new release. Simply owning 007 First Light rewards the Timeless Tuxedo Suit in HITMAN, while there are other James Bond-themed cosmetics available if you're willing to part with some of those hard-earned pennies.
The runway is now pretty clear on the way to a full release, and bar something disastrous, we should all be doing our best spying in 007 First Light before next month is out.
