Jake Gyllenhaal makes rare red carpet appearance with longtime girlfriend Jeanne Cadieu at The Bride! premiere in London.

The Road House actor, 45, has been dating the model, 29, who was born and raised in Paris, since 2018. 

Growing up in the French capital, Jeanne now predominantly lives in New York City where she works as a professional model.

Despite being romantically linked to one another for eight years, their red carpet appearances together are few and far between. 

But stepping out together in London on Thursday, Jake and Jeanne attended the World Premiere of THE BRIDE! at Cineworld Leicester Square.

Jeanne put on a striking display for the premiere in a skintight black turtle neck dress featuring a scribbled outline of a female body imprinted on it.  

She paired the look with suede heels and a black clutch bag featuring gold metallic fingers as the clasp, as well as chunky gold and pearl earrings.

Meanwhile Jake opted for a black double-breasted suit as he cosied up to his partner. 

The couple were seen together later in the evening as they headed to the premiere afterparty at Bardo St James, with Jake signing autographs for fans. 

'I'm not going to give you timing [about wedding bells]. I think we all get into that space of work, work, work, and for a long time my career took precedence,' Jake said of Jeanne to THR last year. 

'But I'm at a point in my life where I realise that family really is the only thing that matters to me.'

He told the outlet he loves to cook with Jeanne and their favourite date was attending KCRW's Good Food Pie Fest in Los Angeles in 2024 'where they hung out with a pie-baking drag queen named Bertha and tasted dozens of pies.'

'We got [tasting] tickets a month and a half early,' Jake gushed. 'I was like, "Babe, we can go! We can go to the pie contest!"'

Although Jake and Jeanne rarely discuss their relationship in public, he showered praise on her in a 2022 profile for Esquire.

'In a lot of ways, we’re family. I'm in a relationship that is full of love and support. I feel so at ease,' said the ex-boyfriend of Taylor Swift.

The following year, he also vaunted his 'wonderful' girlfriend while promoting his children's book The Secret Society Of Aunts And Uncles.

'I would love to have a family, and if it's anything like the family that my sister's raised and has cultivated, I would be proud,' he stated.

Jake's sister Maggie Gyllenhaal is married to The Man In The Iron Mask actor Peter Sarsgaard, with whom she shares her children Ramona, 18, and Gloria, 12. 

As early as 2021 he had remarked that 'all' he wanted was 'to be a good husband and a father,' during an interview on The Howard Stern Show.
