Jackie 'O' Henderson's doctor says she is suffering from PTSD after her clashes with co-host Kyle Sandilands

Jackie 'O' Henderson is battling post traumatic stress disorder, her doctor has claimed. 

The former radio star's mental health concerns were raised in documents filed with the Federal Court and released on Tuesday, amid Henderson's legal clash with ARN following the cancellation of the Kyle and Jackie O Show earlier this year. 

As she wars with her former employer seeking an $82 million payout, Henderson's PTSD was mentioned in a medical report prepared by Dr Jonathan Phillips.

Dr Phillips states that Henderson, 'is suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder arising as a result of 'the ongoing bullying perpetrated by Sandilands' and 'the failure of ARN to offer appropriate care and protection'.

In an additional sworn statement, Henderson says she was 'belittled' and 'humiliated' by her 'unpredictable and erratic' former KIIS FM co-host, Kyle Sandilands. 

'I felt that the constant attacking of my character and putting me down at work by Mr Sandilands was slowly wearing me down,' she said in the statement. 

'I felt exhausted and like I wanted to give up. I felt like this treatment was happening in subtle ways but regularly. It felt like bullying.'

Henderson says that the treatment worsened from 2023 onwards and left her feeling anxious. 

'I often drove to work with a low level sense of anxiety and dread, which caused me to feel worn down over time,' she said. 

'The cumulative effect was that I felt emotionally unsafe in the workplace, even during periods where the relationship appeared outwardly positive.'

When approached by the Daily Mail for comment, a representative for Kyle Sandilands indicated that the shock jock is expected to address Henderson's claims on his new radio show, Kyle Sandilands Live, on Monday.

Sandilands is not involved in Henderson's lawsuit, in which she seeks a payout of the remainder of her $82 million contract with ARN. 

That contract was abruptly terminated in March after a high-profile on-air argument between former Kyle and Jackie O co-hosts Sandilands and Henderson. 

Sandilands has been battling his own health issues, having been noticeably absent from Kyle Sandilands Live on Friday morning after being struck down by what colleagues described as a genuine medical concern.

Kyle's manager, Bruno Bouchet, revealed the broadcaster was resting on the advice of a doctor. 

'I've spoken to him, and so look, it's basically the high blood pressure thing and the aneurysm. Doctor's orders,' he said.

The latest setback caps a turbulent opening week for Sandilands' heavily promoted independent venture, which launched after subscribers paid $99 upfront for annual access. 

The debut episode on August 10 was plagued by glitches from the outset, with technical difficulties disrupting the broadcast and forcing an emergency shutdown shortly after 7am as the team attempted a hard reset. 

But the rollout has been anything but smooth. 

Rather than hide from the drama, Kyle and his crew openly acknowledged the rocky start, even cheekily naming Tuesday's second episode: 'Hopefully today's better...'
