As the Lioness season 3 ending gets closer, a new Paramount+ top 10 chart update has arrived, and it features a surprising absence of Sheridan projects. Though Lioness leads the TV chart and the overall chart in the top spots, other series from the Yellowstone creator don't appear at all, a surprising development given just how enduringly popular these Sheridan titles have historically been.
Taylor Sheridan Has Almost Completely Disappeared From Paramount+'s Top 10
The response to Lioness season 3 has been positive, and the series continues to be a viewership hit. The fact that the show is currently releasing new episodes makes it no surprise that it's dominating the Paramount+ top 10 chart, but it is unusual that no other Sheridan shows are present.

At any given time, Sheridan typically has a handful of titles in the top 10, partially because of just how many shows he has and how often these shows return for new seasons. Marshals season 1 aired earlier this year, as did The Madison season 1, but, as seen in the chart above, other titles, including South Park, Criminal Minds, and Big Brother, have pushed these Sheridan shows out, a potentially concerning development.
His Streaming Dip Couldn't Come At A Worse Moment
It should be noted that the Paramount+ top 10 chart above is a snapshot and may not be representative of a broader trend, but it could also be an early sign of waning Sheridan dominance in the TV space. This recent dip in popularity for Sheridan projects comes at an interesting time for the Yellowstone mastermind, as several of his shows are on the horizon, and he's poised for a major shift.
Though Sheridan and Paramount have long had a working relationship, Sheridan signed a five-year deal with NBCUniversal in October 2025. His departure from Paramount after his contract ends in 2028 will mark a major shift in the TV industry and potentially a major blow to Paramount.
Marshals season 2 premieres on October 4, and both Tulsa King season 4 and Mayor of Kingstown season 5 are also expected to release on Paramount+ later this year. These 2026 shows are in addition to expected 2027 returns for Landman and The Madison. Of course, with so many new seasons on the horizon, it's very likely that Sheridan's dominance of the Paramount+ top 10 charts will resume in the near future as his Paramount exit looms.
