Hardy, then, has seemingly not been fired from MobLand, despite the reports of behind-the-scenes friction. Hardy's alleged behavior also hasn't caused either Helen Mirren or Pierce Brosnan, MobLand's other two main leads, to depart from season 3, either.
Tom Hardy's confirmed involvement in MobLand season 3 finally puts an end to the era of uncertainty surrounding the show. Instead of questioning how the show might have written Harry out or killed him off, fans can now simply look forward to having more of Hardy's acting in future seasons. Along with confirming Hardy's continuing involvement, Paramount's announcement also notably confirmed that MobLand is returning for a third season even before season 2 has premiered. That's a common strategy for Paramount, as many of Taylor Sheridan's shows, like Landman and Tulsa King, get the same treatment, but it's still exciting for MobLand. It's both a sign of faith from Paramount and a confirmation that this story has a future.
There is still some uncertainty surrounding MobLand, however.
