A bitter real estate feud that shook Sydney's eastern suburbs has exploded into a Federal Court battle, with former Luxe Listings star Tammy Soglanich suing her ex-mentor and boss Simon Cohen.
The former colleagues, who spent seven years together at high-end buyers' agency Cohen Handler, are set for a legal showdown after mediation collapsed weeks ago.
Soglanich launched sex discrimination proceedings against Cohen and his company earlier this year, with a case management hearing before Justice Jane Needham scheduled for early December.
The Daily Mail can now reveal the dispute stems from a lucrative property deal Soglanich was working on before her professional relationship with Cohen dramatically fell apart.
A source said Soglanich was cut out of the deal and stood to lose a significant sum, sparking tensions between the pair.
A spokesperson for Cohen described the breakdown as particularly upsetting, given the close friendship the two shared during their years working together.

He is, however, looking forward to dealing with the current allegations out in the open.
'Mr Cohen is looking forward to the case being heard in court so that the truth and the facts of the case can be heard in a public forum,' they said.
The spokesperson said Soglanich had brought several other claims against Cohen in recent years, all of which were either dismissed or found no wrongdoing.
The latest dispute marks an escalation in a feud that became the talk of the eastern suburbs in 2025, when the pair abruptly ended their seven-year working partnership.
Sources said at the time the split was anything but amicable, with Cohen reportedly angered that some of his well-heeled clients followed Soglanich to her new business.
The pair worked together at Cohen Handler, where Soglanich started as Cohen's assistant before rising through the ranks to become one of the agency's most recognisable faces.
They developed a close bond, with Cohen even attending Soglanich's wedding.
Their professional partnership also brought Soglanich television recognition when Cohen Handler was featured in Luxe Listings Sydney, the Amazon Prime Video reality series depicting the city's high-end property market.

The show offered viewers a window into the world of prestige property, with Cohen and his team helping wealthy clients secure multimillion-dollar homes.
After leaving Cohen Handler, Soglanich founded Aurum Advisory with Leon Jacques in February 2025, targeting high-end buyers in Sydney's east.
The split sparked speculation in prestige real estate circles, with rumours of legal action circulating long before the dispute reached court.
Neither party publicly revealed the details of their separation at the time.
Lahra Carey, a communications strategist representing Soglanich, told the Mail on Monday: 'No further details are available right now but I will be in touch if that changes.'
