Inside Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's Oscars night out as couple 'mingled' with Beyonce at exclusive after-party

Taylor Swift and fiancé Travis Kelce had the chance to take part in Hollywood's biggest night as they landed an invitation to an exclusive Oscars after-party on Sunday. 

The 36-year-old Grammy-winner, who is rumored to be marrying the NFL player on June 13, joined Kelce at a bash hosted by Beyonce and Jay-Z at the iconic Chateau Marmont.

Other A-listers that were spotted at the event, which is also known as the Gold Party, included Michael B Jordan, Emma Stone, Teyana Taylor, Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner. 

Swift and Kelce crossed paths with the hosts once the bash kicked off after the awards ceremony, with a source telling People the lovebirds 'mingled with Beyonce.' 

'Everyone was in a celebratory mood and people were swarming around Michael B Jordan. Taylor was dancing with her friends and having a great time,' the insider added.

The Fate Of Ophelia hitmaker and Beyonce have developed a close friendship over the years. 

In 2023, the Crazy In Love songstress showed her support for Swift at the premiere of her Eras Tour concert film in Los Angeles. 

And then later that same year, Swift made an appearance at the screening of Beyonce's Renaissance tour movie. 

A source told the Daily Mail at the time: 'Taylor and Beyonce have been chatting a lot since Beyonce surprised her at her Eras film premiere. 

'They would seem like unlikely friends, but the two of them truly get each other. In a world of copycats and wannabes, both are at the top of their game.' 

The insider noted that, 'Their music is very different. Their fans are very different, and their lives are so different,' but added, 'they can both relate [to the fact] that they are a master of their craft.'

Natalie Musteata - who won the Oscar for Best Live Action Short Film - also gave insight into the Hollywood after parties during an interview with The New Yorker. 

'We went to Jay-Z's Gold Party, which was surreal,' she expressed to the outlet.

'We got to dance with Jay-Z and Emma Stone and Taylor Swift. We took photos, we laughed, we cried, and it was just the best evening. We didn't want it to end.'

Swift and Kelce are no strangers to making appearances at glitzy parties held after the Academy Awards. 

In 2024, the couple notably attended Madonna's exclusive Oscars bash that was held in the Hollywood Hills.  

Swift and Kelce have mainly been spending time out of the spotlight ahead of their forthcoming nuptials. 

Each of them had busy schedules last year, with the songstress releasing her Life Of  A Showgirl album in October. 

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end also played in the most recent NFL season, although the team had its worst performance in a regular season since 2012 and won only six games.  

Last month in February, Swift and Kelce enjoyed a rare date night in New York City. 

The Love Story singer bundled up in a $6,150, black Louis Vuitton coat as well as a pair of black-heeled boots. 

She also carried a black purse from a luxury brand and let her blonde locks fall in light waves past her shoulders.

The professional football star had sported striped trousers as well as a thick gray sweater for the evening. 

Last year in August, Kelce popped the big question and Swift shared photos from the intimate engagement on Instagram with the caption: 'Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.'

The sports player had turned his backyard in Kansas City into a secret garden wonderland, which offered a romantic atmosphere. 

He had asked Swift to marry him shortly after they recorded an episode of his New Heights podcast together. 

'Both families are overjoyed. There were toasts, happy tears and everyone is thrilled for them,' a source told People at the time. 

The insider added that 'friends have been stopping by and sending little gifts. It has all been intimate, nothing over the top.' 

While recently talking to TMZ, Kelce gave a humorous hint into his wedding reception when asked how many kegs of his beer brand Garage Beer will be on hand. 

'Man, I can't even count that high,' he jokingly told the outlet.

In September, an insider claimed to the Daily Mail that the lovebirds have chosen her sprawling $28 million Rhode Island mansion as the venue for the ceremony. 

And the date is rumored to be June 13, with Swift's lucky number being 13. 

It has also previously been claimed that she has asked some of her celebrity pals to be her bridesmaids, including Selena Gomez and Gigi Hadid.

Earlier this month, it was revealed that Kelce will be returning to the football field next season as he signed a new $12 million contract with the Chiefs.
