Pink Shares the Emotional Advice She Gave Daughter Willow Ahead of 15th Birthday
Though Pink will not take home a single trophy from the 2026 Tony Awards, she's fairly certain she'll walk away from helming the June 7 ceremony feeling like a winner.
And since she won't be making any acceptance speeches, the musician took the time to thank some key VIPs before she took the stage at Rockefeller Center's Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
There's her mom Judith Moore. They "had a rough go" with while growing up in Doylestown, Penn., Pink acknowledged in her exclusive interview with E! News. But as an adult, the "So What" singer (born: Alecia Moore) maintains a strong appreciation for how the ER nurse would save up for Broadway tickets.
"It was my favorite night with my mom every year," the 46-year-old explained to USA Today of their trips to see Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables and La Cage aux Folles. "I just love theater and live performance. It definitely shaped what I do as Pink."
So, the three-time Grammy winner made sure to score her mother a ticket for the event honoring the year's most memorable theater performances.
"She's so excited and this is all because of her," Pink noted to E! News. And now that she's watching her and husband Carey Hart's 15-year-old daughter Willow take center stage, "I can give that to my mom and be like, 'You did this,'" Pink explained, "and it just makes me want to cry talking about it. It's going to be a beautiful night."
Naturally, her musically inclined offspring will take on a lead role, attending alongside little brother Jameson, 9, who will be looking dapper in a white tux.
"I'm excited that Willow is getting to help me through it all," noted Pink, "and it's just really fun."

Because the teenager is why the whole fam decamped from their Southern California winery for new city digs.
"We actually moved here because I am an amazing mom," Pink explained in March, clocking in for her current side hustle as guest host of The Kelly Clarkson Show. "And also so Willow could study theater and experience more Broadway."
Honestly, just a little bit of a reason was enough to convince Pink to help her eldest achieve her Great White Way dreams.
"She has followed me around the world her whole life, on and off tour," Pink recently acknowledged on CBS Mornings. "And I told her, it's your turn. We'll follow you. And that's what we do for our kids, we show up if we can."
And if you ask her, Willow's been f--kin' perfect.
"She's doing the damn thing," the musician raved to E!. "She's in cabarets for charity, she's in workshops, she just did Carrie the musical—which was dark. She's killing it. It's fun to watch."
Pink's one complaint is that means she has less time to duet.
Though the duo teamed up to perform a cover of "Hopeless War" from The Outsiders musical during the talk show's Kelly-oke segment, joked Pink, "She is now finally at the age where she would like to do her own thing, which I think is boring."
And this summer she may truly be flying solo at co-ed sleepaway camp while Jameson will learn CPR "and how to get out of a riptide, which I think is a life skill" at Junior Lifeguards training.
But while Willow is purportedly old enough to summer solo ("I did sign her up, but maybe we're still talking about it," Pink cracked of her hesitance), she'll never outgrow advice from Mom.
And with some three decade and nine studio albums under her aerial harness, noted Pink of her guidance, "I'm very transparent with my daughter."
Most importantly, stressed Pink, you've gotta get up and try, try, try.
"I just told her she just has to work hard and be a good person," noted the star, "and show up and be a good teammate."
That last bit Pink has been demonstrating since a 14-month-old Willow tagged along for her 2013 The Truth About Love shows.
"She's grown up on my tours," Pink explained. "And the picture might be mine on the poster, but I'm nothing without my team, and that's from carpenters to lighting to dancers to sound, like it's a real team effort."
Such is how the Hart fam operates.
"We came here for Willow, but Jameson is thriving as well," Pink stressed. "And I'm doing all kinds of cool stuff, and it's fun. I'm a touring artist, all I do is tour. Now I'm like, no, I don't. I host Kelly Clarkson, and I talk to people about their problems. It’s great."
So what? She's still a rock star. But most importantly, as evidenced in these sweet family pics, she's Mom.
