Cassie Ventura Shares First Photo of Baby No. 3 With Husband Alex Fine

Cassie Ventura and her husband Alex Fine welcomed their third child last year in the most unusual of circumstances.

That is, when Cassie gave birth to a baby boy in New York on May 27, she was only 11 days removed from giving raw, emotional testimony in the sex-trafficking case against her ex-boyfriend Sean "Diddy" Combs.

She spent the better part of four days on the witness stand, with Alex in the courtroom for most of it, minus a portion where the judge had him leave to prevent a potential conflict of interest should he be called to testify (which he ultimately was not). 

By the time the trial finally ended in July—with Combs being found guilty of transportation to engage in prostitution, but not guilty of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking—Cassie had long since returned home to L.A., looking to reclaim her private life after serving as the prosecution's star witness.

"By coming forward with her experience, Cassie has left an indelible mark on both the entertainment industry and the fight for justice," the lawyer said. "We must repeat—with no reservation—that we believe and support our client who showed exemplary courage throughout this trial.”

Wigdor subsequently submitted a letter to the court in support of keeping Combs locked up while he awaited sentencing, writing that Cassie "believes that Mr. Combs is likely to pose a danger to the victims who testified in this case, including herself, as well as to the community."

Combs did remain jailed before being sentenced Oct. 3 to 50 months in prison, plus five years of supervised release. His release date has been moved up a few times since, most recently landing on April 15, 2028.

Since the trial, Cassie has been otherwise keeping a low-profile, focusing on life as a mom of three—in addition to their 11-month-old son, she and Alex share daughters Frankie, 6, and Sunny, 5—and resuming her goal of "mastering piece," as she put it in the most recent selfies she shared, from April 9, 2025. 

In the meantime, his wife of nearly seven years has been busy living up to the fierce goals she set as a mom raising daughters.

When Cassie was pregnant with Frankie in 2019, she told L'Officiel, "I hope to make her understand the bigger picture in life and that you don’t have to solely be one thing in this world. I want her to know that she can choose.”

Acknowledging how far she'd come since her days in Combs' orbit, she explained, "My priorities have absolutely changed, not just for creating an amazing future and life for my daughter, but because I want her to be proud of me. I've heard people say that they're nervous to raise females in today's world, but I'm excited! I can't wait to see her grow, learn and challenge the world right back!"

And when she and Alex found out they were expecting again, they couldn't wait for their family of five to take shape.

“There aren’t words to describe how grateful I am that I get to do this life with you!" Cassie wrote to Alex in her March 2025 pregnancy reveal. "The laughter and pure joy that I get to experience with you is beyond any of my dreams and manifestations. You’ve taken care of me and my heart like no other, you’re hands down the best girl dad and I’m SO excited to see you now become a father to OUR SON!"
